The peace process is one of the major end time prophecy signs as it will signal the beginning of the seven-year tribulation (Daniel’s 70th week). There will be much written about it over the next few years but several events need to occur before this seven-year deal is signed. Psalm 83 war and Ezekiel 38 war. Both must occur before the tribulation because Israel is living in peace until they are betrayed by the Antichrist at the midpoint.
There is a lot of tension building in Israel and their enemy’s are amazing massive amounts of weaponry on all sides. These same players are also forming alliances, in what I call the Psalm 83 alliance. It will be interesting to see what order they occur, but I feel it will be Psalm 83, then Ezekiel 38. God is the only one that knows.
The important thing is to say watchful, and be sure to turn back to God. He is the only one that can protect us these days.

Syria Tying Knot with Hizbullah and Lebanon in Case of War
Syrian President Bashar Assad put his cards on the table while hosting Lebanese Prime Minister Sa’ad Hariri on Sunday night and urged a joint Syrian-Lebanese-Hizbullah front against Israel.
The two leaders met in a traditional “suhour” meal at night, before the daily Ramadan fast, to strengthen an anti-Israeli alliance and patch up chilly relations. Their countries’ relationship reached a deep freeze with the bloody 2005 assassination of Hariri’s father and former Lebanese anti-Syrian Prime Rafiq Hariri. Syria and Hizbullah have been identified by United Nations investigators as being behind the murder five years ago.
Syria’s official SANA news agency ignored the historically bitter relations with Lebanon, describing as “excellent” the bilateral relations that Assad and Hariri said “emphasize the depth of the historic ties between the two brother nations, as well as the future horizons for tightening the cooperation between the countries in all areas.”
Hizbullah’s and Syria’s increasing dominance in Lebanon was evidenced Monday by the Kuwaiti al-Rai newspaper, which reported that their respective military forces plan to cooperate to gather and exchange intelligence information concerning a “bank of Israeli targets” in the event of war.
Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, have flatly stated that Hizbullah’s terrorist army has in effect become part of the Lebanese army.
Hizbullah possesses an estimated 60-80,000 missiles smuggled from Iran and Syria, despite the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) mandate to prevent arms from reaching Hizbullah in southern Lebanon, where thousands of the missiles are stockpiled. <Link>

Four Israelis Killed in the West Bank
Four Israelis were killed Tuesday after Palestinian gunmen opened fire on their vehicle while it was traveling in the West Bank. An Israeli Army spokesman said that among the passengers was a pregnant woman.
The attack came only two days before Israel and the Palestinians are set to launch face to face peace negotiations in Washington. Analysts in Jerusalem believe that this attack is meant to sabotage President Obama’s Middle East summit before it even starts. Some here say after this brazen attack, it could be a challenge to the President to stay on track and get the negotiation to move ahead.
In a phone call to Fox News office in Gaza, Hamas military wing claimed responsibly for the attack. A Hamas spokesman in Gaza told the Israeli media that this attack was not meant to foil the negotiations since they had already failed even before they started.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was quick to condemn the attack after landing in Washington.”This horrible murder is a proof that Israel should insist on its security demands” he said.” Acts of terror will not influence Israel’s position on borders and the faith of the settlements’.
In a statement faxed to Fox News Jerusalem Bureau, Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad said the attack does not help the peace efforts or the interests of the Palestinian people. ” The Palestinian Authority will take action to prevent a repeat of such militant attack” Fayyad said.
Immediately after the shootings, Israeli forces set up road blocks in the Hebron area, and the Southern West Bank in an effort to arrest the attackers. No Palestinian security forces were used in joint operations a clear rift after this incident. In the past few months both sides have enjoyed joint Palestinian and Israeli security coordination in the area. <Link>

PA Minister Threatens War over Jerusalem
The Palestinian Authority religious affairs minster, a week before peace talks in Washington, warned of war if Jerusalem is not “returned” to “its owners. And we are its owners.”
With PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas in the audience, Mahmoud Al-Habbash declared in his Friday sermon, “Jerusalem can ignite a thousand and one wars,” according to a translation supplied by Palestinian Media Watch.
Unless Jerusalem “becomes the capital of the Palestinian people, there is no peace,” he warned. “The term ‘war’ will not be erased from the lexicon…as long as Jerusalem is occupied.
“If Jerusalem is dishonored, if Jerusalem is disgraced, if [Jerusalem] is lost, it may leave the door open to all possibilities of struggle, all possibilities of war.
“Jerusalem is not just a city. Al-Aqsa is not just a mosque. Jerusalem is the key to peace…. Unless Jerusalem will be Palestinian, as it was throughout history, the capital of the Palestinian state and the capital of the Palestinian people, the place which is the object of heartfelt longing and which all Muslims aspire to reach; unless Jerusalem is like that way, there is no peace. There is no peace without Jerusalem. There is no stability without Jerusalem.” <Link>
