Another huge earthquake, the birth pains are intensifying…
Mr Parker said he did not want to overstate the level of damage “but I think it’s like an iceberg. There is, in a sense, below the visible line significant structural damage.”

Third eruption within a week, and each time it is getting bigger.
“The volcano erupted at 04:38 am which has lasted for 13 minutes and sending a column of ash as high as 3,000 metres (10,000 feet) into the air. This is the biggest eruption,” government volcanologist Agus Budianto told AFP.
“We recorded continuous tremors since 7:00 pm Thursday that indicated an intense magma movement inside the volcano,” he said.

What are the signs of the end times?
It’s important to know so we can explain to others why Christians believe what we believe.
As Peter says:
“But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” 1 Peter 3:15 (NLT)
Unfortunately, too many Christians are unable to explain why they believe we’re in the last days when the opportunity presents itself.
One argument in particular seems to catch today’s Christians off guard.
Peter forewarned us of this argument:
“Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, ‘What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.'” 2 Peter 3:3-4 (NLT)
The particular version I hear most often is, “Sure, you think Jesus is coming, but so have previous generations.”

More stories of deception in the headlines and confirmation of past deception/bias.
First up is a great article on the real state of the Arizona border and what is really actually being sent. Politicians say they are sending 3000 National Guard Troops, but 30 show up in Arizona. We have set aside $600 million to aid increased border protection but where is it being used? The gap between the talk and action is wide. Maybe we used some of them money on those billboards.
Next up BBC is admitting that it had a left leaning bias that is has been working to correct.
Finally, a news article comes out on one of the leading physicist for the big bang theory has changed his mind.
God had nothing to do with the creation of the universe. It can all be explained by their chaos theory.

Below I pulled 10 articles on the Peace process and tensions surrounding it.
There is so much pomp and circumstance surrounding these events. The speeches, photo ops, and state dinners. How amazing is it that we think we can bring peace. It is our nature.
It was prophesied that Jerusalem and Israel would become the center of attention for the world during the end times and this is certainly coming to pass. There are hundreds of articles out there on a weekly basis.
There is no other way to explain it, how does a little country, with no real claim to fame economically, survive where it is geographically, let alone consume so much attention. It is God’s Will being enacted, as he brings focus onto Israel, allowing him one more opportunity to turn people back to him.

This is an amazing story of what the Israeli’s have to live with on a daily basis. I can’t imagine living in that kind of environment. It will only get worst as tensions build.
But as we see, God will work miracles to protect his chosen people and those who are faithful.
God is breathing breath into Israel and turning them back to him as prophesied in Ezekiel 37.
This is preparing for the end times and start of Daniel’s 70th week.

There are more unusual weather signs in the news. Two of the articles below show extreme weather. Los Angeles & Oceanside recorded record low levels while Kentucky has heat and moisture causing corn to pop in the fields.
More seriously still embedded in the corn popping story was the fact that Corn crops are down 20% this year. There are also panics and riots beginning throughout the world due to actual food shortages and fears of what’s to come.
The east coast braces for what looks like a near miss for a category 3 or 4 hurricane, with evacuations beginning this afternoon.
Finally, we are seeing pestilence hit the US mainland with the spread and return of bed bugs. It has been spreading up and down the east coast with the first stories coming out of New York a few weeks back.
God is trying to get our attention, we need to wake up and turn back to him.
These are the birth pains predicted in Matthew and Luke.

Below are three articles that show further steps our current administration is trying to take, some successful, some not. All of these are leading us to be more inline with the world by either giving up pieces of our sovereignty or lowering our standards economically. Either way, it is preparing us for a single government over the entire globe, chipping away piece by piece.
First we have key Obama Ally working with global leaders to institute a global tax, first step on a slipper slope. Question, who do you contact or protest or vote out to get rid of a global tax?
Second, we have the government trying to shut down an entire industry due to a couple mishaps. They say it is to protect our coasts, problem is if we are not drilling, Russia and Venezuela are going to start drilling in the exact same spots. So we are just as much at risk with no jobs or economic benefit. And do you think those countries safety standards are lower or higher than ares?
Third, our southern borders are getting worst. We are loosing parts of our country (50-100 miles inland) and our government will not do anything about it. Why? Several reasons probably, they want to nationalize all the illegals to get new voters, they need to keep open borders to allow better integration for a “North American Union”?

End times prophecy tells us that there will be both a falling away within the church as well as the rise of a single world religion.
The two articles here show the contrast of the direction we are heading.
The first article talks about how certain church leaders have written the president urging and encouraging him to stand strong for peace and end the occupation that began in 1967. Wait who’s side are they on? (That’s another story for another day…) What I noticed while reading the article is how reliant they were on the human ability, yes the mentioned prayer, but most of it was on our human ability to achieve lasting peace.
From the Bible, we know that only Jesus, will bring lasting peace to earth following His second coming after the tribulation.

One world government is another common end times outcome. The Antichrist steps in to take the rains of a single world government. We are not close to that yet, but you are seeing signs of the pieces of the puzzle falling into place. Control will be a major factor in establishing this single governing body. A lot of times they refer to it as sovereignty, or us giving up a portion of ours for the greater global good.
The articles below each outline pieces to the puzzle, in different stages of progression. You hear stuff like “Reeducate”, and instantly 1984 pops to mind. We now have our own spy satellites spying on our citizens and spinning it as something to be proud of.

One of the things missing from the Bible’s end times prophecy is America. That has always been perplexing as we over the years have been a strong Christian nation, probably the strongest in the world. There are a lot of theories around what will happen, but the collapse of our economy and leveling of the playing field (no super power) is bound to be needed for other events to take place.

The peace process is one of the major end time prophecy signs as it will signal the beginning of the seven-year tribulation (Daniel’s 70th week). There will be much written about it over the next few years but several events need to occur before this seven-year deal is signed. Psalm 83 war and Ezekiel 38 war. Both must occur before the tribulation because Israel is living in peace until they are betrayed by the Antichrist at the midpoint.

Christ multiple times warned us to remain watchful, so we are not deceived. I think that is one of the biggest signs that we are living in the end times. You can not believe what you see and hear. We have to question everything these days. Truth is a rare morale in deed. How do I know, because when we find someone willing to tell the truth, we jump for joy and celebrate, even if it is only inside.
The two articles below are both areas of huge deception that we run into everyday. It is amazing how many people have been deceived and led astray on Global Warming, and Carbon Foot print. Do they realize that we breathe out CO2 every few seconds? Do they realize plants need it to live and give us the oxygen that we need to live? Finally, in the last year, the truth is starting to come out on climate change. But those that are deceived refuse to believe it, no matter what proof you show them. Ever wonder if it is more than simple earthly misleading?

The following four articles caught my attention today surrounding Ezekiel’s prophecy of the end times.
First up, Putin has been very involved in Russia as the Prime Minister, but it looks like he may be back as the President in 2012. He has a lot of ties to the old Soviet Union, as a KGB officer, and many believe may be primed to lead Russia, Magog, and the Ezekiel 38 alliance against Israel when the time is right. Is that 2012? Something to watch…
Ezekiel 38:3-4 – “And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:”

More news on the amazing Prophecy fulfilled, Oil and Gas found in Israel and offshore. Enough in fact to keep Israel self sufficient for quite some time and allow exports to other countries. Notice as the bold text from Genesis and Deuteronomy, when God gives his blessings.
Deuteronomy 33:24 – “And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.”

Here are five headlines from today on crazy weather patterns occurring throughout the world. God predicted each of these in the Bible and that they would come to pass during the lead-up to the last days.
We have global food prices rising. God predicted in Revelations 6:6 that we will have to work all day just for enough food to feed ourselves, not our family but just our self.
Revelation 6:6 – “And I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”
We are a long way from that but prices on almost all essentials are going up. In the end it will probably be a combination of increased prices and economic collapse. But we need to be watchful, God is trying to get our attention to turn back to him.
