Hungary: Toxic red sludge has reached the Danube

More news on the Toxic sludge in Hungary, it has reach Europe’s second-longest river.  What a mess.  We must keep them in our prayers that they can deal with the catastrophe and minimize injury.  I would classify this as one of those fearful sights.  Just look at the pictures and tell me if you agree, they are stunning…

Hungary: Toxic red sludge has reached the Danube

KOLONTAR, Hungary – The toxic red sludge that burst out of a metals plant reservoir and inundated three villages reached the mighty Danube on Thursday, but an Hungarian emergency official said no immediate damage was evident on Europe’s second-longest river.

The European Union and environmental officials had feared an environmental catastrophe affecting half a dozen nations if the red sludge, a waste product of making aluminum, contaminated the 1,775-mile (2,850-kilometer) long Danube.

The reservoir break Monday disgorged a toxic torrent into local creeks that flow into waterways connected to the Danube. Creeks in Kolontar, the closest town to the spill site, were swollen ochre red Wednesday and villagers said they were devoid of fish. Kolontar is 45 miles (70 kilometers) south of the Danube.

The red sludge reached the western branch of the Danube early Thursday, Hungarian rescue agency spokesman Tibor Dobson told the state MTI news agency. He did not address concerns that the caustic slurry might contain toxic metals but said its pH content had been reduced to the point where it was unlikely to cause further damage to the environment.

Amazing and Fearful Signs…

Amazing and Fearful signs seem to be occuring weekly if not monthly now, we must wake up to God’s warnings.  He predicted this in the Bible.  An unexplained crack 600 feet long and 4 foot deep, wow, what a sign?  The nearby trees tilted 15 degrees… (I also included a link to the river disapearing overnight that was mentioned in the video…)

Strange things are taking place and we just saw once of these fearful events happen in a place that does not see these things that often. “In BELLEMONT, Ariz. – A rare swarm of tornadoes shoved semis off highways and destroyed homes in the pre-dawn darkness Wednesday, leaving startled residents wondering if they were in Arizona anymore or had woken up in the twister-prone Midwest. After one tornado rumbled through Bellemont around 5:30 with wind speeds of up to 110 miles per hour, residents armed with flashlights emerged from their homes to check on the damage — a house splintered, windows smashed, garage doors twisted, but no major injuries.”  Start adding up all these signs and you get a clear picture of what Jesus was warning us about in Matthew 24:33!

Prophecy Sign: In Zechariah 12:3 God warned that anyone who burdens themselves with Jerusalem will be cut into pieces. We have seen a lot of weird things happen in the US, and today I wonder if the Lord is beginning to cut carve up the US for Obama working to give East Jerusalem over to the PLO and dividing up Israel? Just a thought! Iska River in Slovenia Vanished Overnight

The Iska River in Slovenia vanished overnight. Residents reported hearing loud crashing and drumming sounds during the night and woke up to find the river was gone. Fish were found flopping on the dry river bed. The river may have moved underground after a crack opened in the riverbed. However, no earthquake was reported. Amazing pictures of visuals seen in the sky over california.  Christ said to watch for signs in heaven, are these them?  I don’t know.  They are amazing.

Rainbow AND a lightning bolt? Must be a Hollywood production: Days of record heat followed by spectacular storms in California

Days of historic heat in southern California came to a spectacular end on Wednesday with thunderstorms, lightening and huge rainbow.

Rain fell steadily in downtown Los Angeles yesterday afternoon as dramatic storm clouds formed over the region, only two days after the highest ever temperatures were recorded.

At the start of the week thermometers hit an astonishing 113F (45C) – beating the previous record set 20 years ago.
