Rand Paul OpEd: Obama Should Be Held Accountable For Benghazi
CNN now reports that at least 35 American agents were in Benghazi and the CIA is doing everything possible to prevent them from testifying to Congress. Did Clinton lie because the CIA program was classified? Is it OK to lie to Congress about classified programs? Obama’s national intelligence director, James Clapper, lied to the Senate in March of this year when he testified that no American records were being collected by the NSA. He tried to explain his prevarication by saying that he responded in the least untruthful way he knew how because the program was classified.
Obama Diminished Presidency by Talking National Security on Leno
“The president of the United States went to a late-night comedy show for his first-ever statement about this increased terror threat. A late-night comedy show.” Limbaugh added that though there is “nothing wrong with late-night comedy shows,” this “would not have happened with any prior president.” “Matters of such consequence, matters of such seriousness would have been dealt with in a far more serious and appropriate way and forum and time of day,” Limbaugh said. “There were serious items on the agenda in our relationship with Russia, and all of it was treated as a joke. All of it was treated as unserious, halfhearted, nothing to really be concerned about.”

A federal judge in Richmond, Va., has refused to dismiss from a lawsuit several FBI and Secret Service agents as well as local police officers who arrested a military veteran based on an opinion from a counselor who had never met him that he might be a danger. The officers had confronted the veteran, Brandon Raub, after he expressed criticism of the U.S. government on a social networking page. They arrested Raub and kept him in custody for an evaluation based on the long-distance opinion from Michael Campbell, a psychotherapist hired by the local county. But when the case came before a judge, his ruling found the concerns raised by the officers were “so devoid of any factual allegations that it could not be reasonably expected to give rise to a case or controversy.” Raub then sued the officers for taking him into custody.

Is it hopeless? Should we give up?
So why should Americans today throw up their hands in apathy? Because they don’t believe in miracles. They don’t believe in the power of prayer. They don’t have the faith of a mustard seed. That’s what’s really lacking in us today.
Billy Graham: If Ever There Was a Time America Needed God’s Intervention, It’s Now
“If ever there was a time this country needed the intervention of God, it is now,” writes Graham in the letter published on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association website. “We can and should pray for America as a whole, but remember that when God sets out to change a nation, He begins by changing people. It starts with individuals.” Graham said that there are a lot of things that his health and strength no longer permit him to do, but that there are still many things he can do, “and one of them is pray.” He writes that he is praying fervently for “a fresh spiritual awakening in America.”

US Embassy Closings Expose Barack Obama’s Lies About Al-Qaeda & Benghazi
How is it that Al Qaeda, the group that Barack Obama stated many times during his re-election campaign were on the run and nearly wiped out, have now, just some 12 months or so later, bloomed into a huge threat that is not isolated but now encompasses nearly the entire Middle East? Obama did state that Al Qaeda was on “a path to defeat” just this past May, and yet it seems they are now powerful enough to cause the closing of scores of U.S. facilities in the very places Obama had stated they were on the run in! Just how can that be? Could that be because Obama is weak?
Raising More Benghazigate Questions
Jake Tapper peeked recently into that dark room wherein the Obama Administration and its allies in the MSM have consigned the Benghazigate Scandal. Tapper’s was the first and only major report to appear in the MSM, and CNN will air a special on Benghazigate tonight at 10:00 PM EDT. It should be a “must watch” for anyone interested in understanding the event, its genesis, and its consequences. The MSM (except in a blog here) has not touched Tapper’s report, and the special may serve as a second prod to get its members off their collective duffs. One little fact Tapper’s in piece is being said to have been unreported earlier other than in alternative media: that a total of seven persons were injured in the attacks.

In Romans 10 Paul lays out how salvation is open to all, Jew and Gentile. He writes:
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” – Romans 10:4-5
What he is saying is now it is not about works or how closely to a “T” you follow the law. But that it is through God’s gift of grace through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. It is really that simple, and yet a hard step for some of us.
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9
Christ is the narrow gate (Matthew 7:13-14), through faith in Him you will be saved. It is the only “works” that God requires for eternal salvation.
