India launches ambitious national identity scheme
India has launched a huge national identity scheme aimed at cutting fraud and improving access to state benefits.
Using biometric methods, including an iris scan, the system will log details of India’s population of more than one billion people on a central database.
It was launched by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress party leader Sonia Gandhi in western India.
The data will be stored online in what India says will be the biggest such national database in the world.
The unique identification (UID) programme will help those in poor, marginalised communities who find it difficult to access public services and benefits because they do not have official records, officials say.
The government expects to give a UID number to every Indian citizen within four years.
Birth registration is not universal and it is hoped that the database will give an accurate picture of Indian society.

Some interesting video’s on what is being developed in St. Louis.
Chipless RFID technology.
That’s right, no chip, it is electronic ink that is used to write a mark on the skin that can be read with normal RFID technology. It takes less than 20 seconds.
Currently the main use is for livestock but the vendor, Somark, says the ink is safe for use on humans.
Eerie, how things are advancing. Do I think we are going to be rounded up next week? No. It is just the puzzle pieces falling into place for the perfect time when the Antichrist rises.

Good article on the extent to which our government is going today. GPS and tracking device technology, use to be something from a Bond movie, but today it is being used more and more. Something you may not have thought about, I know I hadn’t, is found in the court’s ruling:
The court said that a person “who knows all of another’s travels can deduce whether he is a weekly churchgoer, a heavy drinker, a regular at the gym, an unfaithful husband, an outpatient receiving medical treatment, an associate of particular individuals or political groups — and not just one such fact about a person, but all such facts.”
Think about that, does that sound like something that would be useful to a global government that is set up to control everything about our lives, including a mark in which they control all sales and purchases?

The Obama administration has urged a federal appeals court to allow the government, without a court warrant, to affix GPS devices on suspects’ vehicles to track their every move.
The Justice Department is demanding a federal appeals court rehear a case in which it reversed the conviction and life sentence of a cocaine dealer whose vehicle was tracked via GPS for a month, without a court warrant. The authorities then obtained warrants to search and find drugs in the locations where defendant Antoine Jones had travelled.
The administration, in urging the full U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia to reverse a three-judge panel’s August ruling from the same court, said Monday that Americans should expect no privacy while in public.

This is a great article on the state of our worlds fiat currency systems and their attitude toward gold.
Greenspan made an amazing statement this week. He stated on September 15th:
“Fiat money has no place to go but gold.”
What could he mean by that? He continued:
He further commented that “if all currencies are moving up or down together, the question is: relative to what? Gold is the canary in the coal mine. It signals problems with respect to currency markets. Central banks should pay attention to it.”
Unfortunately, they aren’t as outline further in the article.
These events are all starting to intersect. No Fiat currency has ever succeeded.
We will at one point, see our leaders declare that the current currencies are not working but there is a better plan to move to a single more stable global currency.
Until then we will continue to see the attacks on gold, to keep the fiat illusion firmly in place.
If you haven’t read Atlas Shrugged, I would highly recommend it. I began reading it recently and it was spooky how all the characters and philosophies could have just as easily been the last two years. They matched exactly…

The attached PDF file show a study done on what the government has in store for our retirement accounts.
There are three areas the government can go to get access to additional revenue:
Gold confiscation, (Look up what FDR did in 1930s, also see other postings, earlier today, for 2010 version)
Property confiscation (What percent of home loans do you think the government now controls? almost 90%, yeah that’s right!), or
Retirement account confiscation. (Next up…)
The Government has a problem. It is growing so fast it can’t sustain itself. The average public federal employee is paid $120k, where the private employee is paid $60k on average. But he is paying for the federal employee. Also, there is a rise in unemployment to almost 17% if you consider those that have given up. But the Federal Government has lost zero jobs, they have actually been adding.
The paper sums it up well:
“But it (the government) has a very serious problem. It can’t sustain itself – let alone keep growing – on the back
of the existing tax base.”
On top of that there are two other areas of pain looming on the horizon:
– The US “AAA” credit rating is hanging by a thread. (If we lose this, the interest on our debt we are financing goes through the roof.)
– The foreign investors (mostly China & Japan) are balking at buying anymore debt. (Uncle Sam is seen as riskier than blue chip firms now – Washington Post.)
Solution?
The biggest source of hereto largely untapped revenue for US politicians is private retirement accounts.
60 million households
401k – $4 trillion
include 403b’s, HSA, IRAs & others – $15 trillion
It may not happen suddenly (like in Argentina), but prerequisites are already being readied for implementation.
Here are some quotes from the paper linked below:
The 40l(k)/IRA de-privatization plan is the brain-child of one of the left’s rising stars, the
bright and inventive leftwing academic Teresa Ghilarducci. While Ghilarducci insists 40l(k)s will still
be “legal” under her plan, the thrust of her idea was revealed on a 2008 radio interview in which she
said, “I’m just rearranging the tax breaks that are available now for 40l(k)s and spreading – spreading
the wealth…”
Just rearranging (nudging) the tax breaks available now to spread…wait for it…the…wealth…
In a 2009 research paper, Ghilarducci declared “Guaranteed Retirement Accounts [GRAs] are
like universal 401(k) plans except that the government, as befits a large and enduring institution, will
invest and manage the pooled savings.” That’s because, as the professorial Ghilarducci believes,
“Humans often lack the foresight, discipline, and investing skills required to sustain a savings plan.”
(Of course, that analysis of “humans” would not apply to left-leaning PhDs, members of Congress, and
bossy bureaucrats – who somehow are endowed with the skills needed to manage everyone else’s
investments.)
Wow, guess we know where we rank. Good think they are there to serve the people…on wait, that doesn’t match…
Under the Ghilarducci Plan, 50% of your GRA automatically goes to the government upon
your passing, not your heirs. And that’s just for starters. Future tax deferments to 401(k)s and IRAs
would be scrapped in exchange for a supposedly guaranteed 3% annual real return.
Hmm, give up total control to get guaranteed 3% annual real return. And they get half when I die…sounds fair.
Backers of government-controlled accounts stress that 401(k)s will still be “legal” under her
plan – yet if 401(k)/IRA tax advantages are removed, employers will no longer have a financial
incentive to offer them at all. (All part of an active “herding” process to force private retirement funds
into government-approved “investments.”)
Again with the nudging, or is that a shove, maybe even a take down…
Sorry for the sarcasm, but this is really incredible. The gall to make some of these statements and bold recommendations. You really need to download the document and read it in its entirety. It is very eye-opening.

Intersection of three end times prophecy?

Financially, we are being herded into very narrow options. Our government is needing to control us to a point of no options, all to keep up the illusion and deception that they can fix our economy or that it is built on sand.
Basic finance tells you that in down times, you head to bonds and t-bills. If you don’t trust bonds and t-bills, then you head to Gold, Silver, or physical assets to preserve your wealth and wait out the down times till you can buy back in.
What the government is doing is forcing us down a funnel. The GM and Chrysler fiasco last year paired with the struggling states and cities has tainted the bond market. With the unknown health of the US government and the Feds willingness to print currency to cover debt, T-Bills are unattractive. That left Gold, Silver and other physical assets. Physical assets, real estate, has taken a large hit, which left Gold and Silver.
“Just as the government is trying to prevent people from investing in anything other than T-Bills by raising taxes on taxable interest and dividends to confiscatory levels, it’s also trying to prevent you from parking your wealth in assets, like gold, that compete with the paper dollars issued by the Federal Reserve and the Treasury.”
This last resort investment is the newest target of the government to attempt to drive investors back into T-Bills all under the deceptive guise of protecting the consumer from unscrupulous gold vendors. It could be political too.
… a September 23 hearing of the Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection… will focus on “legislation that would regulate gold-selling companies, an industry who’s [sic] relentless advertising is now staple of cable television.”
…”Under Rep. Weiner’s bill, companies like Goldline would be required to disclose the reasonable resale value of items being sold.” That’s great. Are Mr. Weiner and Chairman Bernanke also going to agree to print on every dollar the reasonable expectation that its value will be eroded by inflation?
And why do they feel such excess is needed: The fear of hyperinflation. But….
The whole situation is amazing. If Mr. Weiner really wants to calm fears about hyperinflation, the last way to do it is to have a government hearing cracking down on the people warning of it.
So where is this all headed.
It is just another sign or thread of our government putting the controls in place so that they control all the exits (places you can put your money). It is the intersection of One World Currency, One World Government, and the Mark of the Beast. Because you can’t convience (force) someone to take a mark that will control all investments and purchases, if they are invested in Gold and Silver. Bottom Line.

Revelation 13:7 (NIV) – “He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.”

Another stepping stone in the path to the prophecy that allows the Antichrist and his regime control all buying and selling interactions. The Mark of the Beast will be the key, but all of this infrastructure will be needed to make it work. The last line of the article was what raised my eye brow.
The firms also aimed to develop a universal standard for all electronic identity and mobile transactions.

New interface could increase contactless processing speed
A French firm has designed a new interface which could increase the processing speed of contactless smart card technology.
Research company CEA-Leti has developed a prototype of the software which transfers data at 6.8Mbps, compared to the current standard rate of 848Kbps.
CEA-Leti aims to attain speeds over 10Mbps and is currently talking with the International Organisation for Standardisation, in partnership with Gemalto, about implementing the package.
Contactless smart card technology was originally created to be used with bank cards and transit schemes which only require low transfer rates.

Economy Nucleus of Tribulation
One prophetic element stands out in considering the seven-year Tribulation era, with regard to the Antichrist regime. That is the economic platform prophesied to be at the heart of the beast system.
With so many signals in view that point to the brewing Tribulation tempest, we should expect–if we are reading the end-times signals correctly—that this heart of the Beast should be well along in its construction. We have covered all of the indicators found within current issues and events that we believe are signals like those given by Jesus and the prophets. National and world economies have been dealt with in our efforts to make prophetic sense of the dynamic rearrangements taking place in recent years, months, weeks, and days.
America’s staggering weight of debt and swift economic decline is front and center in pointing to the fact, we believe, that this is the generation that stands at the end of one dispensation–the Church Age–and upon the precipice of the next–the Tribulation. Since Bible prophecy clearly foretells that the Antichrist government, thus the economic engine that will power that absolute dictatorship, will emerge from Europe, we need keep our prophetic antennae pointed in that direction–i.e., we must be especially alert to news involving movement within Europe to cause significant changes to global economic structure.
The following excerpt from the Wall Street Journal registers an interesting blip on my own end-times radar screen.
PARIS —French President Nicolas Sarkozy called on the world’s twenty largest economies to work together to reform global monetary order.
“We must define a new framework for discussing currency movements,” Mr. Sarkozy said, adding that it is “nonsense” to talk about exchange rates without including China, which has accumulated huge foreign exchange reserves.
He said stabilizing erratic foreign exchange and commodities markets will feature high on France’s agenda when it heads the Group of 20 [in] November. He added there is a need to reduce the U.S. dollar’s dominance as the reserve currency of choice.” (Nathalie Boschat and David Pearson, “Sarkozy Outlines G-20 Priorities,” Wall Street Journal, 8/26/10)
Prophecy scholars and others have long pondered why the U.S. , the most powerful nation in history, isn’t mentioned by name–or even by significant reference—in God’s Word. We continue to flounder in attempts at finding an exact answer for that question. However, with the recent astonishing changes nationally and abroad, the answer seems to be in the process of forming.
Monetary manipulation is at the root of the change taking place. The American dollar must be removed as the currency standard so that a global currency not underwritten by any national monetary unit can be established. This is precisely the Beast economic order I’m convinced Bible prophecy describes as outlined in the following:

This speaks to me of a computer system –a hybrid Internet whereby all citizens of the global economic order will be absolutely controlled at every level of life. Probably, it will consist at its heart of electronic funds transfer (EFT)–a system of Special Drawing Rights (SDR). Anyone refusing to toe the mark of the Antichrist’s regime will face having his or her SDR account blocked or removed completely from the system. Fear of starvation is a mighty motivator to comply.
Pressures are mounting for a completely changed global economic order. Even the king of the kings of the East, China, is at the center of the dynamics driving the changes.
Most economists who are honest will admit that the current building economic heap of debt cannot continue to accumulate. They are amazed, in fact, that everything hasn’t already collapsed into total, worldwide depression. I again offer my belief that it will be the Rapture that causes the ultimate implosion and collapse.
The great world leader called in Revelation “the Beast” will be there to implement a satanically-inspired economic scheme that will at first offer hope –that will for a time “cause craft to prosper” (Dan. 8:25). But Antichrist’s plan will achieve what it will be designed to do: enslave most of the world in electronic bondage.
Jesus offers the opposite of what the counterfeit, Antichrist, will produce. Jesus promises: “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36). We must at every opportunity lift up the Holy name of Jesus before the eyes of a world headed into the terrors of the Tribulation.

Iris Scanners Create the Most Secure City in the World. Welcome, Big Brother
We’ve all seen and obsessively referenced Minority Report, Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s dystopian future, where the public is tracked everywhere they go, from shopping malls to work to mass transit to the privacy of their own homes. The technology is here. I’ve seen it myself. It’s seen me, too, and scanned my irises.
Biometrics R&D firm Global Rainmakers Inc. (GRI) announced today that it is rolling out its iris scanning technology to create what it calls “the most secure city in the world.” In a partnership with Leon — one of the largest cities in Mexico, with a population of more than a million — GRI will fill the city with eye-scanners. That will help law enforcement revolutionize the way we live — not to mention marketers.
“In the future, whether it’s entering your home, opening your car, entering your workspace, getting a pharmacy prescription refilled, or having your medical records pulled up, everything will come off that unique key that is your iris,” says Jeff Carter, CDO of Global Rainmakers. Before coming to GRI, Carter headed a think tank partnership between Bank of America, Harvard, and MIT. “Every person, place, and thing on this planet will be connected [to the iris system] within the next 10 years,” he says.
Leon is the first step. To implement the system, the city is creating a database of irises. Criminals will automatically be enrolled, their irises scanned once convicted. Law-abiding citizens will have the option to opt-in.
“So will we live the future under iris scanners and constant Big Brother monitoring? According to Carter, eye scanners will soon be so cost-effective–between $50-$100 each–that in the not-too-distant future we’ll have “billions and billions of sensors” across the globe. Goodbye 2010. Hello 1984.”

24 Hour Fitness rolls out finger scanners at gymsSAN RAMON, Calif. — Members of the 24 Hour Fitness chain no longer need to worry about forgetting their membership cards and IDs when they go to the gym: All they need to bring are their fingers.
The San Ramon-based company is now using fingerprint scanners at its 60 San Francisco Bay area locations to verify members’ identities. It also has started offering so-called “Cardless Check-In” this month at some gyms in other states.
To enter the gym, 24 Hour Fitness members need to punch in a 10-digit code and have an index finger scanned by a device that compares the fingerprint to one on file.
Company officials say the voluntary program allows members to show up without ID, prevents nonmembers from sneaking in, and saves the cost of making and mailing club cards.
“We’re always looking for ways to make it easier for people to use our clubs,” said Dan Benning, president of the company’s Northern Division.
The scanners underscore the growing use of biometric technology, which uses unique physical features such as hands, eyes and faces to identify people.

California students get tracking devices
RICHMOND, Calif.—California officials are outfitting preschoolers in Contra Costa County with tracking devices they say will save staff time and money.
The system was introduced Tuesday. When at the school, students will wear a jersey that has a small radio frequency tag. The tag will send signals to sensors that help track children’s whereabouts, attendance and even whether they’ve eaten or not.
School officials say it will free up teachers and administrators who previously had to note on paper files when a child was absent or had eaten.
Sung Kim of the county’s employment and human services department said the system could save thousands of hours of staff time and pay for itself within a year.
It cost $50,000 and was paid by a federal grant

New Canaan Considers Tracking Devices for Students
In the tony town of New Canaan, students might someday get tracking tags along with their textbooks.
No decisions have yet been made, but school officials plan to look into the possibility of adding radio frequency tags to student or staff ID cards, or place them on school property, like laptops, the New Canaan Advertiser reports.
The company that makes the devices is SecureRF Corporation, based in Westport. It has applied for a $100,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to conduct science research and wants New Canaan High School to use the technology, the Advertiser reports.
“We are looking to test this technology with a partner,” SecureRF’s founder and chief executive officer Louis Parks Parks said during a school board meeting last week. “The primary role we are looking for from you is the feedback and input.”
The technology could be used to track people within the school, something district transportation coordinator Roy Walder said could help during an emergency, such as a fire or a school-wide evacuation, the Advertiser reports, and tracking who is coming and going from the open campus.
Of course, parents might not be thrilled about placing a tracking device on their children, Jim Kucharczyk, a board member, said.
“I can perceive parents would have an issue with tracking kids through the school and through town. … There’s a big difference between putting this on the school bus or putting it on backpacks or an ID card,” Kucharczyk said.
Student involvement would be voluntary and parents would have to agree to it, Supt. Dr. David Abbey, told the Advertiser.
So far, school board members decided only to explore the idea but they’d need more details before agreeing to participate.
Walder said there might be a potential to expand the technology to school buses to track who’s using them and reduce budget costs.
The school board will get another report in a few weeks.

I believe all of this is funneling toward the end times prophecy of the Mark of the Beast.
It is slowing breaking down our defenses to this type of intrusion under the deception that they need it to protect us.
Slowly they will shift public opinion and acceptable standards to the point, people will think it is a great idea and happily get the Mark (referred to as the Overton Window).
I do believe that all Christians will know what the mark is and what it means. It is not something that will sneak up on us. God has said so and placed in us the Holy Spirit that will warn us as well.
I share Paul’s “Blessed Hope” that we will not be here to experience it. The rapture of the church will certainly thin the watchmen, and allow the deception to run wild.

This is some scary stuff, remember when all of that big brother stuff seemed so sci-fi? The two quotes that took my breath away were:
“I actually think most people don’t want Google to answer their questions. They want Google to tell them what they should be doing next.”

The 55-year-old also predicted that in the future, Google will know so much about its users that the search engine will be able to help them plan their lives.
The sad thing is I believe him. People don’t want to think these days, we are so dumbed down with the media sound bites and mindless TV. People don’t know how to think two or three steps ahead to the consequences for their actions or the actions on their behalf.
Additionally, the fact that someone would have to change their name to avoid being associated with what they did, points directly to the fact that we are living in times like “the days of Noah”. Which was another warning from Christ in his Olivet Discourse.

The private lives of young people are now so well documented on the internet that many will have to change their names on reaching adulthood, Google’s CEO has claimed.

Eric Schmidt suggested that young people should be entitled to change their identity to escape their misspent youth, which is now recorded in excruciating detail on social networking sites such as Facebook.
“I don’t believe society understands what happens when everything is available, knowable and recorded by everyone all the time,” Mr Schmidt told the Wall Street Journal.
In an interview Mr Schmidt said he believed that every young person will one day be allowed to change their name to distance themselves from embarrassing photographs and material stored on their friends’ social media sites.
The 55-year-old also predicted that in the future, Google will know so much about its users that the search engine will be able to help them plan their lives.
Using profiles of it customers and tracking their locations through their smart phones, it will be able to provide live updates on their surroundings and inform them of tasks they need to do.
“We’re trying to figure out what the future of search is,” Mr Schmidt said. “One idea is that more and more searches are done on your behalf without you needing to type.
“I actually think most people don’t want Google to answer their questions. They want Google to tell them what they should be doing next.”
He suggested, as an example, that because Google would know “roughly who you are, roughly what you care about, roughly who your friends are”, it could remind users what groceries they needed to buy when passing a shop.
The comments are not the first time Mr Schmidt has courted controversy over the wealth of personal information people reveal on the internet. Last year, he notoriously remarked: “If you have something that you don’t want anyone to know, maybe you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place.”
Earlier this year, Google was condemned by the privacy watchdogs of 10 countries for showing a “disappointing disregard” for safeguarding private information of its users.
In a letter to Mr Schmidt, Britain’s Information Commissioner Chris Graham joined his counterparts in countries including Canada, France, Germany and Italy, in raising concerns over its Street View and Buzz social networking services.

Wal-Mart Radio Tags to Track Clothing

It looks like Walmart next month will be adding RFID’s to all of their Jeans and Underwear as a trial to help with their inventory.
Now, I do not necessarily think that Walmart has anything neferious motives here other than improving their inventory process but the side effects can be significant. First these RFID’s can not be turned off so others can use them after they leave the store. It also gets us use to the idea of giving up the right of privacy in what you buy and where you are located.
Very interesting article and something to be aware of, I am sure most people will have no idea that this is happening and therefore unable to take appropriate actions, to remove the RFID’s.

Where’s Jimmy? Just Google His Bar Code

Scientists tag animals to monitor their behavior and keep track of endangered species. Now some futurists are asking whether all of mankind should be tagged too. Looking for a loved one? Just Google his microchip.
The chips, called radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, emit a simple radio signal akin to a bar code, anywhere, anytime. Futurists say they can be easily implanted under the skin on a person’s arm.
Already, the government of Mexico has surgically implanted the chips, the size of a grain of rice, in the upper arms of staff at the attorney general’s office in Mexico City. The chips contain codes that, when read by scanners, allow access to a secure building, and prevent trespassing by drug lords.
In research published in the International Journal of Innovation and Sustainable Development, Taiwanese researchers postulate that the tags could help save lives in the aftermath of a major earthquake. “Office workers would have their identity badges embedded in their RFID tags, while visitors would be given temporary RFID tags when they enter the lobby,” they suggest. Similarly, identity tags for hospital staff and patients could embed RFID technology.
“Our world is becoming instrumented,” IBM’s chairman and CEO, Samuel J. Palmisano said at an industry conference last week. “Today, there are nearly a billion transistors per human, each one costing one ten-millionth of a cent. There are 30 billion radio RFID tags produced globally.”
Having one in every person could relieve anxiety for parents and help save lives, or work on a more mundane level by unlocking doors with the wave of a hand or starting a parked car — that’s how tech enthusiast Amal Graafstra (his hands are pictured above) uses his. But this secure, “instrumented” future is frightening for many civil liberties advocates. Even adding an RFID chip to a driver’s license or state ID card raises objections from concerned voices.
tracking boxes and containers on a ship en route from Hong Kong is OK, civil libertarians say. So is monitoring cats and dogs with a chip surgically inserted under their skin. But they say tracking people is over-the-top — even though the FDA has approved the devices as safe in humans and animals.
“We are concerned about the implantation of identity chips,” said Jay Stanley, senior policy analyst for the speech, privacy and technology program at the American Civil Liberties Union. He puts the problem plainly: “Many people find the idea creepy.”
“RFID tags make the perfect tracking device,” Stanley said. “The prospect of RFID chips carried by all in identity papers means that any individual’s presence at a given location can be detected or recorded simply through the installation of an invisible RFID reader.”
There are a number of entrepreneurial companies marketing radio tracking technologies, including Positive ID, Datakey and MicroChips. Companies started marketing the idea behind these innovative technologies a few years ago, as excellent devices for tracking everyone, all the time.
Following its first use in an emergency room in 2006, VeriChip touted the success of the subdermal chip. “We are very proud of how the VeriMed Patient Identification performed during this emergency situation. This event illustrates the important role that the VeriChip can play in medical care,” Kevin McLaughlin, President and CEO of VeriChip, said at the time.
“Because of their increasing sophistication and low cost, these sensors and devices give us, for the first time ever, real-time instrumentation of a wide range of the world’s systems — natural and man-made,” said IBM’s Palmisano.
But are human’s “systems” to be measured?
Grassroots groups are fretting loudly over civil liberties implications of the devices, threatening to thwart their development for mass-market, human tracking applications.
“If such readers proliferate, and there would be many incentives to install them, we would find ourselves in a surveillance society of 24/7 mass tracking,” said the ACLU’s Stanley.
The controversy extends overseas, too. David Cameron, Britain’s new prime minister, has promised to scrap a proposed national ID card system and biometrics for passports and the socialized health service, options that were touted by the Labour Party.
“We share a common commitment to civil liberties, and to getting rid — immediately — of Labour’s ID card scheme,” said Cameron according to ZDNet UK.
These controversies are impacting developers. One firm, Positive ID, has dropped the idea of tracking regular folks with its chip technology. On Wednesday, the company announced that it had filed a patent for a new medical device to monitor blood glucose levels in diabetics. The technology it initially developed to track the masses is now just a “legacy” system for the Del Ray Beach, Fla., firm.
“We are developing an in-vivo, glucose sensing microchip,” Allison Tomek, senior vice president of investor relations and corporate communications, told FoxNews.com. “In theory it will be able to detect glucose levels. We are testing the glucose sensor portion of the product. It will contain a sensor with an implantable RFID chip. Today’s patent filing was really about our technology to create a transformational electronic interface to measure chemical change in blood.”
Gone are the company’s previous ambitions. “Our board of directors wants a new direction,” says Tomek. “Rather than focus on identification only, we think there is much more value in taking this to a diagnostic platform. That’s the future of the technology — not the simple ID.”
The company even sold off some of its individual-style tracking technology to Stanley Black and Decker for $48 million, she said.
These medical applications are not quite as controversial as the tracking technologies. The FDA in 2004 approved another chip developed by Positive ID’s predecessor company, VeriChip, which stores a code — similar to the identifying UPC code on products sold in retail stores — that releases patient-specific information when a scanner passes over the chip. Those codes, placed on chips and scanned at the physician’s office or the hospital, would disclose a patient’s medical history.
But like smart cards, these medical chips can still be read from a distance by predators. A receiving device can “speak” to the chip remotely, without any need for physical contact, and get whatever information is on it. And that’s causing concern too.
The bottom line is simple, according to the ACLU: “Security questions have not been addressed,” said Stanley. And until those questions are resolved, this technology may remain in the labs.

Got this off of therightscoop.com a few months back. Very interesting theory on what it could stand for and something to look into…
Ok, I know this isn’t political, but I thought I’d run it anyway because I found it quite interesting. I ran across this video last Friday night for the first time and it put me into a weekend of Bible Prophesy that was very fulfilling. In fact this video blew my mind the first time I saw it.
The Arab-American man giving the lesson is Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist who came here in the 80′s to prepare for Jihad in America. Fortunately for us his life was transformed by God (The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob) and now he spends much of his time talking about the evil of Islam and occasionally Bible prophecy. He also has some good insight into Obama’s religion as well. I’ll leave that there for now.
One thing I’ve realized is Shoebat is a brilliant man who brings an eastern perspective on the Bible. I’ve listened to quite a bit of his teachings recently, and he really knows both the Bible and the Koran inside and out. In this video, he tells us something that he realized about the Mark of the Beast listed in Revelations 13. We’ve always known it as 666, but he seems to think otherwise:
I will point out that his argument makes much more sense than the seemingly arbitrary number 666. If you look at our world as it stands right now, much of it is Muslim and as Shoebat points out in other videos I’ve seen, there isn’t a single country in the last days that Jesus comes back to fight that isn’t now a Muslim country. And what do militant Muslims wear on their heads and arms? They wear bands that say “In the name of Allah”, among other things.

RF ID chips advance…the technology is there.
