Creaping Deception…

My heart is troubled. I found out my church is beginning to adopt some of the “Emerging church” doctrine. It is scary to see such deception creep into our supposed “safe places” and through people who should know better. It is where God wanted us to be able to recharge in between venturing out into this world to be His light. This time it is so sinister as to use “missionaryism” to our communities as the topic. A topic that every church wants to improve on and do the Lord’s work by bringing others to Christ. But the methods they are suggesting are dangerous and disarming.

I feel we may be losing ground to these feel good/new age Emergent’s. In this new approach, they stress that we (the saints) need to leave our Bibles and God’s word behind and go out and make friends with non-believers (sojourners) in a non-confrontational manner by joining their groups and once we have become friends, we are to invite them back into our community groups, which they are calling “incarnational communities”. There we can fellowship with them in a non-discriminatory manner to show them God’s word without confrontation. To tell you the truth, the actual process feels deceptive to the non-believers and somewhat cult-ish. It was the word “incarnational” that set off alarms so I began doing some homework on its roots which you can see a few links below.

I can’t believe they said to leave our Bibles behind and go out into this world. Are we really to become part of this world to bring non-believers to Christ? After we are born again, we are to be in this world but not of this world. God’s word tells us that we are to be his light to the world by living differently due to my faith and the hope that my faith in Christ gives me. God’s word (the Bible) is one of the items God said “above all” do not leave behind. It is part of our holy armor Paul describes in Ephesians.

Ephesians 6:10-20 – (NKJV) – The Whole Armor of God

¹⁰Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. ¹¹Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ¹²For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ¹³Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

God’s word is our sword. It is how we awaken those asleep, sow His seeds, and protect ourselves from our enemy. This is a time of spiritual warfare, both sides are scrambling to bring in the largest harvest before the end. With our churches infiltrated by the likes of Rick Warren and Brian McLean where do we, that are battle weary from living in this world (but not of this world) go. Maybe the answer may be small home churches? This is how God’s word is spreading around the world at astonishing rates as it used to be in America decades ago before churches began growing larger and into mega churches. Maybe it is needed again here too. We need to pray about this and ask for the Lord’s direction.

There is more deception out there than I can possibly describe. It is now a wolf in sheep’s clothes. We need to be on guard from the “Emerging” doctrine. We need to stay watchful within our churches and keep our armor on because: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).

I will be adding a page in the weeks ahead that will list the names of Pastors that I find subscribe to this and some of the key resources that you can use to find out more about what their plans are and where it is headed.

Incarnational

What does it mean?

These days, the word “incarnational” can be heard in most denominations and postmodern churches. It’s at the heart of the new, experiential form of Christianity — the transformative movement attempting to unify the world under the banner of the evolving “Church”. It fits right into Rick Warrens global P.E.A.C.E. Plan and Brian McLaren’s Kingdom of God.

It calls for a non-offensive form of the “gospel.” No longer is the emphasis on God’s Word and personal regeneration through the Holy Spirit. The new emphasis is primarily on collective experience and unifying community service. To avoid conflict, the true gospel — including the “offense of the cross” — must be banned along with other divisive Scriptures.

The deception is great.

They will blatantly say one thing in English to the western press and then turn around and say the complete opposite (reality) to their internal press.

Iran’s nuclear program designed to ‘finish off’ Israel, Hezbollah MP says

Hezbollah MP Walid Sakariya told Lebanese television this week that the nuclear weapon Iran is allegedly developing is intended to annihilate Israel.

In a segment recorded and translated by MEMRI (the Middle East Media Research Institute), Sakariya, also a retired general, told his interviewer on Hezbollah’s al-Manar TV Tuesday that should Iran acquire a nuclear weapon it would serve Syrian as well as Iranian interests, namely the eradication of the Jewish state.

“This nuclear weapon is intended to create a balance of terror with Israel, to finish off the Zionist enterprise, and to end all Israeli aggression against the Arab nation,” Sakariya said.

“The entire equation in the Middle East will change,” he asserted.

Iranian officials typically assert that their controversial nuclear program is meant solely for peaceful purposes.

Nigeria Kogi state curfew after church attack
A dusk-to-dawn curfew has been declared in parts of Kogi state in central Nigeria, after gunmen killed at least 19 worshippers at a church. Gunmen stormed the church near Okene city in Kogi state and fired on worshippers late on Monday. Kogi Governor Idris Wada said the “devilish” killers would be arrested.

Anti-semitism – couldn’t get any clearer…

Another unbelievable , shocking in the blatancy, of an Egyptian Official refusing to answer any questions as long as an Israeli Journalist is present.

How could the world ever believe peace could be achieved through talking, when they won’t even talk?

The host cuts to the Egyptian official around the 2:22 minute mark.

Zechariah 12:3 is in strong effect and the dark clouds they mention is the Psalm 83 War looming over the region.

Brotherhood-Affiliated Egyptian Official Has Antisemitic Outburst on Live TV After Learning an Israeli Is on the Program

Ever since the so-called Arab Spring first had its inception, the amount of apologias for the Muslim Brotherhood and other organizations involved in that supposedly enlightened and revolutionary event reached something of a critical mass. Yet despite being a critical mass, it quite obviously was not analyzed critically. In fact, now that Egypt has begun its path towards a new state unencumbered by the remnants of the previous Mubarak regime, Westerners are seeing more and more cause for concern, especially where the Muslim Brotherhood’s virulent antisemitism is concerned.

Nevertheless, until now, no Muslim Brotherhood operative had actually outed himself as an outright antisemite on a Western television show. In that respect, Nader Amram, of Egypt‘s Peace and Freedom Party’s foreign relation’s committee, is truly a trailblazer. The Weekly Standard reports:

News channel France 24 hosted a panel Monday night to discuss Egypt’s first civilian president, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohamed Morsi. One of the guests on the panel, via satellite from Cairo, was Nader Amram, a member of the Freedom & Justice Party’s foreign relations committee. (The Freedom & Justice Party (FJP) is the Muslim Brotherhood’s political party.)

When Amram learned that an Israeli journalist was also included on the panel, he protested that he had not been informed beforehand that he would have to appear with an Israeli. He then launched into a mini-diatribe about how Israel is the real problem in the Middle East and refused to discuss matters further with the Israeli.

Zechariah 12:1-5 – (NIV)

Jerusalem’s Enemies to Be Destroyed

An Oracle ¹ This is the word of the LORD concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the spirit of man within him, declares: ² “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. ³ On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. ⁴ On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness,” declares the LORD. “I will keep a watchful eye over the house of Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations. ⁵ Then the leaders of Judah will say in their hearts, ‘The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the LORD Almighty is their God.’

Muslim Appeasement Has Been a Disaster

One simple question sums this topic up for me:

“How do you reason with someone that wants to kill you?”

It defies logic, but then again, we are living in a world where 2+2=3 for a lot of people.

It is an area where you can really see the “hardening of the heart” that God talks about. No matter what the outcome or results you are seeing, those that believe in appeasement, continue more of the same. The words of Ezekiel echo in my head “have you come to plunder and take spoils?”

It is a result of history repeating itself. And ultimately, our own fault for not valuing history and instead only what is new and progressive.

Todd does a great job laying out what the outcome has been and where it is leading us.

Muslim Appeasement Has Been a Disaster

America’s longstanding policy of Muslim appeasement has been a complete failure. We started on this path thinking that acts of kindness will somehow separate the good Muslims from the extremists. Our efforts have only made maters worse. The Middle East has become more radicalized than at any point in the past.

Afghanistan is a prime example of our failed labors. We have spent over $440 billion trying to make that nation a better place, and intolerance has only gotten worse under our watch. The post-Taliban was even nice enough to pass a constitution that ensures the free exercise of religion. It was as pointless as having a fox put his paw print on a contract that guarantees he won’t eat the chickens he’s left to guard. According to the U.S. State Department, there is not a single public Christian church left in Afghanistan. They have all been destroyed by various Muslim forces. The State Department also said there is only one Jewish resident left in Afghanistan. At one time, there were thousands of Jews in that land.

Isolating Israel

So many end times prophecies involve Israel. It was the super sign that jump started the birth pains and lets us know for certain that we are part of the generation that will see Christ return. One of the other leading indicators that we are accelerating toward the final hour is the increased isolation the Israel is experiencing. Who would have thought even 4 years ago that the US would not be a friend that Israel could count on?

Terry from raptureready.com lays out this rapidly increasing path of isolation that Israel finds itself on.

Even the headlines this week, show how quick the isolation is occuring, from the open mic comments by our President and the French President, to not supporting Israel and their warnings about a nuclear Iran. It is truly a breath-taking pace.

Isolating Israel

Israel continues to be made the hold-up to peace in the Middle East, thus the stumbling block to peace for the whole world. That nation’s isolation is being maneuvered and manipulated by pressures from every direction.

The Islamist nations of the region hate the Jewish state–while at the same time refusing to acknowledge it even exists. They surround Israel on all sides except the Mediterranean side. Submarines of Israel’s enemies even lurk in those waters, awaiting the right time to strike. The countries within the United Nations, led by the Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, are for the most part overwhelmingly opposed to Israel in every vote taken that involves Israel’s right to exist and thrive in that land the UN antagonists proclaim belongs to the Palestinians.

The European Union (EU) consistently comes down on the side of the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) demands that Israel give up whatever territory necessary to accommodate the two-state solution–thus to construct a homeland for the Palestinian refugees. This is demanded, although the refugees are from the surrounding Arab states, nations that prefer to keep the hapless refugees in geographical limbo so hatred of the Jews and accusations that the Jews are cruel occupiers can continue to spew forth.

The Liberal Media Pulling Strings

I have always maintained that the liberal media is Satan’s most effective tool for guiding and controlling society. It is the flesh and bone of spiritual forces that seek to guide and corrupt our society. In the past few years, the liberal media seems to have become more active in fulfilling the will of its master.

It is almost pointless to try to combat the social and political ills unless you take into consideration the liberal media. It has the power to set the rules. By putting its thumb on the scale, it can determine the winner of most public debates.

The finger of blame is rarely ever pointed at the liberal media for society’s ills. This is because the press is in charge of fixing the blame. Letting the liberal media decide if it’s partly to blame for our country’s moral decline is like putting tobacco companies in charge of finding out what causes lung cancer.
