I don’t know if she didn’t get the point or if she doesn’t want to directly answer it but the point is not that a bird morphs over time into another bird or a lizard into a different lizard that cannot mate.

It is about an example of a lizard becoming a mammal or a fish becoming a bird over time, (not mammal or a fish becoming a bird over time, (not instantly, as she stats).  No one was saying that a bird would give birth to a small monkey.  This changing of kinds (or what every you want to call it) we have no proof of it ever occurring that was Ray’s point.  Evolutionists make the “leap of faith” to say if we see it inter-species then it occurred across species as well.

Because you have no evidence it takes faith to believe that the change occurred without evidence.  This is the same definition of “faith” the evolutionist accuse creationists of needing and it is true in both cases.  Both theories need faith, the true question is where do you place your faith?  Do you place your faith in God or do you place your faith in man (science)?

Evolution is not fact, undisputed.  It is a theory.  That is the big lie that we as a society have allowed ourselves to be fed.  It is also why there is such a strong reaction to Ray’s video.  The truth cannot be allowed to get out.  The truth is evolution is a theory, that is why it used to be called the “theory of evolution” which was conveniently dropped in the last few years.

Make sure to watch both video’s, Ray’s first so you can understand what she is referring to in her rebuttal.

Deception is great!  And growing daily, they can not let the truth get out.  Did you know in the last couple of years they have found soft tissue with a T-Rex fossil dig site.  They were able to capture DNA and blood samples from it.  Problem is, soft tissue can not survive beyond 10,000 years which means the T-Rex would have to be less than 10,000 years old, not millions or even billions of years old.  For more check out this link – Dinosaur soft tissue found.

The Truth is out there!

In Romans 10 Paul lays out how salvation is open to all, Jew and Gentile.  He writes:

“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” – Romans 10:4-5

What he is saying is now it is not about works or how closely to a “T” you follow the law.  But that it is through God’s gift of grace through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.  It is really that simple, and yet a hard step for some of us.

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9

Christ is the narrow gate (Matthew 7:13-14), through faith in Him you will be saved.  It is the only “works” that God requires for eternal salvation.

It is The Gospel of Jesus Christ.  To learn more check out the following link.

A great article on something all parents will face, especially in the age we live in where kids are bombarded with secular believes from before preschool on up.  The message has been woven into their cartoon shows (Dinosaur Train) and in the children’s books and in the classrooms.  I have found it everywhere.  It can feel suffocating.

How can we protect our little ones from this world?

First, we need to call for reinforcements not of this world, for we can not succeed on our own.  We need to pray daily for God’s protection and wisdom.  We need to start early laying the foundation of the Truth and build that essential trust.  Trust in us and trust in God!

Maranatha, Lord come quickly!

How Do I Know the Bible Is True?

A great article from Anita Mellott at Answers in Genesis
January 22, 2013

“Lord, what can I do to help her understand the truth of your Word?” A tear fell onto my Bible as I thought of my pre-teen daughter’s words and prayed for wisdom. At eight, she was voicing questions about faith. “How can a book written so long ago have anything to do with me today?” “How can I believe in a God I can’t see?”

The first time those words rolled off her lips, I thought my heart would shatter. How could my child be asking such questions? Aren’t we raising her to trust the Bible as her compass? Didn’t she accept Jesus as her Savior? Fear and anxiety preyed on my mind for months.

Yet questions are natural and proper. As her questions have continued through the years, four important principles have helped my husband, Jim, and me.

I assumed that because our family had daily devotions and attended church, and we laid a strong biblical foundation, our daughter would trust the Lord. When I realized that faith was the work of the Holy Spirit, I began to pray for her like never before that she would know the Lord and grow strong in her own faith. Interceding in prayer is our privilege and our responsibility.

Open Communication

An atmosphere where children feel they are being heard and understood is vital. It’s sometimes difficult to answer questions without getting defensive or emotional, but asking questions isn’t wrong. We may not always know the answers, but we can (more…)

Sadly, this is just the next step in separating us further from our kids.  The indoctrination of our children through media and our education system.

Nothing could be more despicable.  God says it is the parents responsibility to raise and teach our children.

It is a responsibility we have too freely given up to government and others.

We are responsible.

You are.  I am.  Not someone outside our family.

Ephesians 6:4

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Last time it was “we are endangering our children by disciplining them”, next it will be for teaching them “evolution is wrong” we are endangering their welfare.

I can feel it deep down inside, it is coming…

Matthew 10:16-23

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

A Hard Road before Them

16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so [a]be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves. 17 But beware of men, for they will hand you over to the courts and scourge you in their synagogues; 18 and you will even be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. 19 But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say. 20 For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

21 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and [b]cause them to be put to death. 22 You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

23 “But whenever they persecute you in [c]one city, flee to [d]the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.

Don’t call Bill Nye “the creationism guy.”

The former children’s show host who was credited with turning kids on to science during his 1990’s PBS show “Bill Nye the Science Guy,” has released a video in which he charges that people who deny evolution are hurting children.

“Denial of evolution is unique to the United States,” Nye says on the video, titled “Creationism is not Appropriate for Children.”

Nye, who has become increasingly active in politics and is an ardent supporter of President Obama, claims that refusal to embrace evolution can hurt the U.S.

“We need scientifically literate voters and taxpayers for the future,” Nye adds. “We need people that can — we need engineers that can build stuff, solve problems.”

Nye told CBS he was not attacking religion by criticizing creationism.

“You can believe what you want religiously. Religion is one thing, but science, provable science is something else. My concern is you don’t want people growing up not believing in radioactivity, not believing in geology and deep time.

The video, which Nye made for online education forum Big Think, was posted last Thursday and has already been viewed more than 2 million times.

If you’re not certain you’re saved, here is what you should do, right now:
  1. Acknowledge that you have sinned against a holy God and ask for forgiveness (even if you don’t feel you deserve it) (Rom. 3:23).  Genuinely feel the pain of your sin and be willing to turn from it (repent) (Acts 3:19).
  2. Believe in your heart and mind that Jesus is the Son of God, that he died on the cross for you (John 3:1-18) in your place, and was raised back to life.  There is no one else you can turn to (John 14:6): “I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”
  3. Confess that you are trusting Jesus as your personal Savior.  Since Jesus is alive, you can talk to him.  This is called prayer.  So talk to him right now, in your own words, accept his invitation to know him.
It’s simple faith through grace, the kind of faith a little child would have.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Eph. 2:8-9)
Welcome brother or sister in Christ!  This is just the start of the journey, we are called to live in this world but not be of this world.  Begin studying God’s word (the Bible) daily to give you the strength and wisdom to live this calling out.  There are many sites like this that can help you as well.

If you have not asked Christ into your life, the essential gospel is that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and that He was raised on the third day (1 Cor. 15:3-4).  Believing this is the only qualification for salvation.  We are sinners in need of a savior.  Jesus died for our sins, and to prove that His death was sufficient for us,  God raised Him from the dead on the third day. Believing in our heart that God raised Him from the dead is our assurance that He will raise us, too.
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, (1 Cor. 15:3-4).
