Does Viral Anti-Euro Rant Signal Rise of British ‘Tea Party?’

Nigel Farage may not be a name familiar name for many Americans, but his message to the European Union this week echoed the familiar anti-spending slogans of America’s tea party movement.

Earlier this week, Farage, the leader of the UK Independence Party and co-president of Europe of Freedom and Democracy (EFD), spoke out against the EU for allowing member states to get into debt and bailing them out at the expense of the ordinary people of Europe. All this in the name of cohesion, he suggests, marks significant threats to democracy.

“We don’t want that flag, we don’t want the anthem, we don’t want this political class,” Farage said. “We want the whole thing consigned to the dustbin of history.”

“Just who the hell do you think you people are? You are very, very dangerous people indeed,” he said. “Your obsession with creating this Euro-State means that you’re happy to destroy democracy. You appear to be happy for millions and millions of people to be unemployed and to be poor. Untold millions must suffer so that your Euro-Dream can continue.”

“If you rob people of their identity, if you rob them of their democracy, then all they are left with is nationalism and violence. I can only hope and pray that the euro project is destroyed by the markets before that really happens.”

Seoul G-20 summit to set agenda for new economic order

By Lee Joon-seung
SEOUL, Oct. 10 (Yonhap) — The upcoming Seoul G-20 summit is expected to set the key agenda and lay the foundation for a new post-crisis economic order that will promote sustainable development for all countries, economists say.

More pain in europe as they begin facing reality of over promising.  Is this a glimpse of what we will see here in the US once we finally face reality.

We are in almost the exact same situation as Greece and Romania, except that we are not tied to other countries through a shared currency, so we are free to inflate ours, devaluing the dollar, at will.

All of this is guiding the nations of the world toward a global government, question is will in culminate before or at the point of the Antichrist’s rise.

If you wonder why so many American voters are angry, and no longer give Obama the benefit of the doubt on a variety of issues, you need look no further than Obamacare, whose birthday gift to America might just be a GOP congressional majority.

Six months ago, President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rammed Obamacare down the throats of an unwilling American public. Half a year removed from the unprecedented legislative chicanery and backroom dealing that characterized the bill’s passage, we know much more about the bill than we did then. A few of the revelations:

Cuba Demands New World Political, Economic Order at UN Cuba Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez at UN Millennium Development Goals Summit.

Addressing the plenary session of the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals Summit underway in New York, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla said that the lack of solutions to the most serious development issues and the problems of those who live in poverty and underdevelopment will also affect industrialized societies, where unemployment rates grow and brutal migratory policies are becoming common.

The diplomat added that the goals included in the Declaration of the Millennium have almost been completely fulfilled in Cuba and some of them have even been surpassed.

“Our commitment goes beyond the borders of our country and it has allowed us to contribute to the social development of other Third World  nations”, he said.

More global governance talk and a few interesting bullet points.  As we hurl toward global governance, ask yourself, are these the people or the principles we want, and how would they represent us?

Another tax, during a recession, to help fight poverty, which is good, but maybe not the primary focus?

* Bhutan proposes making happiness a development goal

Ah, “happiness” as a development goal, not the “pursuit of happiness” but happiness as an end state.

Global Governance, taking more from you, to make others happy!
