One of the puzzles I have been trying to work through in by head is how will the Psalm 83 prophecy be fulfilled.  For the longest time there were several roadblocks that kept this from being a feasible occurence.  Some examples would be:

– Turkey was a NATO ally and future member of the EU

– Libya was under a secular dictator

– Egypt was protecting Israel’s southern border and under a secular dictator.

– Syria was under a secular dictator.

– Iraq was under US protection with a major military presence.  This acted as a buffer between Israel and Iran.

Why do I list these in particular?  Because of God’s prophecy in Psalm 83.

Psalm 83

 1 O God, do not remain silent;
   do not turn a deaf ear,
   do not stand aloof, O God.
2 See how your enemies growl,
   how your foes rear their heads.
3 With cunning they conspire against your people;
   they plot against those you cherish.
4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation,
   so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.”

More strengthening between Turkey and Iran as well as China.  Turkey is continuing to move away from the west and embrace its fellow Islamic nations.  This is setting up the Ezekiel alliance, as predicted by God.

Growing ties between Turkey, China, Iran worry Israel and U.S.

Turkey held military drill with China, after canceling with Israel; cooperation also reflected in weapons deals, with Iran buying from China mainly missile technology.

The United States and Israel are watching with concern the growing military cooperation among Turkey, China and Iran, especially following a joint Turkish-Chinese air-force exercise last week.

Until two years ago Israel was Turkey’s main partner for air combat training.

In 2001 the Turkish air force inaugurated a tactical air warfare center in Konya with Israel and the United States.

Until 2008 the Israel Air Force was a frequent guest in Turkey’s sky and a regular participant in the country’s big annual exercise, Anatolian Eagle.

In the wake of Operation Cast Lead and the subsequent deterioration of bilateral relations Turkey last year revoked Israel’s participation in the maneuvers. The United States decided not to take part in the exercise this year because of that decision. A number of other NATO members followed suit.

Turkey replaced the Israel Air Force with its Chinese counterpart. China sent Sukhoi SU-27 fighter aircraft and pilots to train with Turkey’s F-16 fighters. In the past these exercises were held in relatively openness, but last week they were held covertly, with only a brief report appearing in the Turkish media after the exercise.

More “official” movement between Turkey and Syria.  Another example of the Palm 83 alliance partnering with the Ezekiel 38 alliance partners.  This helps feed the theory that one will just be an extension, or round 2, of the first.  We will see…or hopefully not, my blessed hope!

The alliance is solidifying between Turkey and Iran as well as the other Ezekiel 38 and Psalm 83 Alliances.  Both are different prophecies have different member of their alliances but both are solidifying.  As represented by the article below, Turkey is even becoming a strong advocate for Iran’s right to nuclear capabilities.

‘We cannot accuse Iran of pursuing nukes without evidence’

Turkish president speaks of wanting Mideast free of atomic weapons, relations with Israel after flotilla raid, and canceled meeting with Peres in New York.

UNITED NATIONS — Turkish President Abdullah Gul will call for a Middle East totally free of nuclear weapons when he addresses the UN General Assembly later this week, he told the Associated Press in an interview on Monday.
