Treachery!

…when did we stop calling things what they really are?  How can Israel possible trust us in any way?

We are seeing Zechariah 12:3 come to pass before our eyes.  Again, how does anyone not see how hostile this administration is to the State of Israel.

Zechariah 12:3

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely [a]injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.

Footnotes:

  1. Zechariah 12:3 Lit scratched

“And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it (Jerusalem).”  We as a nation are certainly on the wrong side of that prophecy.

White House secretly plotted to blame Israel for collapse of peace talks

This administration is disgusting. They foment hate against Israel simply because Israel wouldn’t accept their horrible peace plan:

FREE BEACON – The Obama administration has been waging a secret media war in capitals across two continents blaming Israel for the recent collapse of peace talks with the Palestinians, according to former Israeli diplomats and Washington, D.C. insiders familiar with the peace process.

Multiple sources told the Washington Free Beacon that top Obama administration officials have worked for the past several days to manufacture a crisis over the reissuing of housing permits in a Jerusalem neighborhood widely acknowledged as Israeli territory.

Senior State Department officials based in Israel have sought to lay the groundwork for Israel to take the blame for talks collapsing by peddling a narrative to the Israeli press claiming that the Palestinians were outraged over Israeli settlements, the Free Beacon has learned.

These administration officials have planted several stories in Israeli and U.S. newspapers blaming Israel for the collapse of peace talks and have additionally provided reporters with anonymous quotes slamming the Israeli government.

The primary source of these multiple reports has been identified as Middle East envoy Martin Indyk and his staff, according to these insiders, who said that the secret media campaign against Israel paved the way for Secretary of State John Kerry to go before Congress on Tuesday and publicly blame Israel for tanking the talks.

“The Palestinians didn’t even know they were supposed to be abandoning negotiations because of these housing permits, which are actually old, reissued permits for areas everyone assumes will end up on the Israelis’ side of the border anyway,” said one senior official at a U.S. based pro-Israel organization who asked to remain anonymous because the Obama administration has in the past retaliated against critics from inside the pro-Israel world.

“Then Martin Indyk started telling anyone who would listen that in fact the Palestinians were angry over the housing issue,” the source said. “Eventually, the Palestinians figured out it was in their interest to echo what the Americans were saying.”

In Romans 10 Paul lays out how salvation is open to all, Jew and Gentile.  He writes:

“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” – Romans 10:4-5

What he is saying is now it is not about works or how closely to a “T” you follow the law.  But that it is through God’s gift of grace through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.  It is really that simple, and yet a hard step for some of us.

Delusion…

This is clear delusion, but I am afraid may are suffering from this same delusion.

The delusion that any “works” other than believing in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and His gift of grace to pay for our sins, will get them into heaven.

If it takes anything on man’s part then we are truly lost because there is none good, not one.

Christ’s death would not be complete and he would have just lied to the thief hanging next to Him when He said he would be in paradise with Him that day.

But isn’t it fitting that Bloomberg started his statement with “…if there is a God”.  Wow, now that is faith!  And what reverence he has for his “savior” with the statement “when I get to heaven I’m not stopping to be interviewed…”  Amazing, man’s pride and arrogance on display!

Contrast…

This is a pretty stark contrast drawn below.

I am always amazed at how people still see him as a Christian.  None of his actions or words would say he is.

Christ told us in Matthew, multiple times, that we should judge a person by their “fruit”, what they produce, do, say, and support.

Maybe it is because so many of “us” Christians are “of this world” more than “chosen out of this world” so we don’t want to condemn his beliefs and actions because it will point to our own actions as well.  But you can’t even go that far for our commander-in-chief because he is down right hostile toward Christians, true Christians that follow God’s word and believe in the whole Bible as inerrant.  Can you name one thing he has ever done to help God’s church?  I can’t.

I was at a Prophecy conference last weekend and one of the speakers stated something that really struck me, but seems so obvious now.

He asked the question, “Are you getting tired of saying to yourself, why don’t these people see what is happening?  Their actions or responses do not make any sense”  And he was right, we are all tired of saying it.  He went on to say, it is the strong delusion that God promised he would give non-believers over to in the last days, just like the days of Noah and Lot. We are watching it unfold.  Nothing makes sense anymore, our society and culture calls evil, good and good, evil.

So next time you ask yourself. “They can’t be that blind or stupid?” when something you think is common sense does not strike them as so.  Remember the times.  It is time that we all straighten up, and boldly proclaim God’s word, the Gospel, as He is our only hope, and the only hope for those that are lost.

Another point to ponder that I gleaned from the conference: If 100% of the prophecies to date have come true and have been fulfilled literally, what makes us think that the ones yet to come will not be fulfilled in the exact same manner, 100% and literally.

As Peter said, God gave us the more sure word of prophecy.  It’s study strengths our faith.

In his own words: Barack Obama on Islam and Christianity

from the therightscoop.com

An interesting batch of quotes put together and sourced by Now the End Begins that create a very distinct picture of our president that will likely surprise only a few of you, if that many. (h/t: The American Thinker)

OBAMA ON ISLAM:

1. “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”

2. “The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”

3. “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country.”

4. “As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam.”

5. “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”

6. “Islam has always been part of America”

7. “we will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities”

8. “These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.”

9. “America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.”

10. “I made it clear that America is not – and will never be – at war with Islam.”

11. “Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.”

12. “So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed”

13. “In ancient times and in our times, Muslim communities have been at the forefront of innovation and education.”

14. “Throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.”

15. “Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality”

16. “The Holy Koran tells us, ‘O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another.’”

17. “I look forward to hosting an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan here at the White House later this week, and wish you a blessed month.”

18. “We’ve seen those results in generations of Muslim immigrants – farmers and factory workers, helping to lay the railroads and build our cities, the Muslim innovators who helped build some of our highest skyscrapers and who helped unlock the secrets of our universe.”

19. “That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.”

20. “I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”

OBAMA ON CHRISTIANITY:

1. “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation”

2. “We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.”

3. “Which passages of scripture should guide our public policy?  Should we go with Leviticus, which suggests slavery is OK and that eating shellfish is an abomination?  Or we could go with Deuteronomy, which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith?”

4. “Even those who claim the Bible’s inerrancy make distinctions between Scriptural edicts, sensing that some passages – the Ten Commandments, say, or a belief in Christ’s divinity – are central to Christian faith, while others are more culturally specific and may be modified to accommodate modern life.”

5. “The American people intuitively understand this, which is why the majority of Catholics practice birth control and some of those opposed to gay marriage nevertheless are opposed to a Constitutional amendment to ban it. Religious leadership need not accept such wisdom in counseling their flocks, but they should recognize this wisdom in their politics.”

6. From Obama’s book, The Audacity of Hope: “I am not willing to have the state deny American citizens a civil union that confers equivalent rights on such basic matters as hospital visitation or health insurance coverage simply because the people they love are of the same sex—nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount.”

7. Obama’s response when asked what his definition of sin is: “Being out of alignment with my values.”

8. “If all it took was someone proclaiming I believe Jesus Christ and that he died for my sins, and that was all there was to it, people wouldn’t have to keep coming to church, would they.”

9. “This is something that I’m sure I’d have serious debates with my fellow Christians about. I think that the difficult thing about any religion, including Christianity, is that at some level there is a call to evangelize and prostelytize. There’s the belief, certainly in some quarters, that people haven’t embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior that they’re going to hell.”

10. “I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell.  I can’t imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity.  That’s just not part of my religious makeup.”

11. “I don’t presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die. But I feel very strongly that whether the reward is in the here and now or in the hereafter, the aligning myself to my faith and my values is a good thing.”

12. “I’ve said this before, and I know this raises questions in the minds of some evangelicals. I do not believe that my mother, who never formally embraced Christianity as far as I know … I do not believe she went to hell.”

13. “Those opposed to abortion cannot simply invoke God’s will–they have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of all faiths.”

14. On his support for civil unions for gay couples: “If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount.”

15. “You got into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

16. “In our household, the Bible, the Koran and the Bhagavad Gita sat on the shelf alongside books of Greek and Norse and African mythology”

17. “On Easter or Christmas Day, my mother might drag me to church, just as she dragged me to the Buddhist temple, the Chinese New Year celebration, the Shinto shrine, and ancient Hawaiian burial sites.”

18. “We have Jews, Muslims, Hindus, atheists, agnostics, Buddhists, and their own path to grace is one that we have to revere and respect as much as our own”

19. “All of us have a responsibility to work for the day when the mothers of Israelis and Palestinians can see their children grow up without fear; when the Holy Land of the three great faiths is the place of peace that God intended it to be; when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra— (applause) — as in the story of Isra, when Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed, peace be upon them, joined in prayer.  (Applause.)”

20. “I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people.”

Dangerous…

Dangerous, that is what this movie is.  Randall lays out exactly why below.

Satan is advancing so rapidly now.  I can not imagine how any Christian could stand behind this movie.

It is sort of funny in an odd way that a movie called “Noah” would help fulfill the prophecy that we are now living in the last days, they “Days of Noe”.

Noah, the Film: All Washed Up

by Randall Price

http://www.worldofthebible.com/update.htm

The pre-release advertising promoting the movie Noah made a point of stating that while the director took artistic license in the production it was still faithful to the biblical story. Early theater previews were carefully edited to appeal to people of faith, but this is the least biblical “biblical film” of all time! However, to be charitable, the bare outline of the Flood story is present, but after that artistic license has taken the film so far afield of anything resembling the Bible that it is offensive to people of faith.

To say that the biblical story was watered down (pardon the pun) is much too mild. Those who know the Bible were aware of how little the script followed Scripture. Those who didn’t know the Bible still didn’t know it when the final credits appeared. It is to the movie studio’s credit that they chose to even make a film with a biblical theme, but the torturous fiction that was the final cut partly written and directed by an atheist is a discredit to both the studio and the actors and is, in result, worse than having not made it at all.

Remember the old adage of making a bottle of poison look nicer by removing the ugly skull and crossbones label and replacing it with one that read “essence of peppermint?” The bottle now looks pretty, but is even more deadly because of its deceptive label. To a generation that already rejects the Genesis account as pure fiction, mixing a little Bible with a film of impure fiction is even worse – and certainly more dangerous to faith. For those who have not seen the movie and may think my judgments too harsh, please consider the following.

The film presents the sole purpose of Noah and the Ark as the preservation of the innocent animals. The pre-Flood world is portrayed as barren and denuded as the result of human corruption. What could be more evil and deserving of judgment in ecologically-minded Hollywood? Therefore, as Noah interprets God’s purpose, mankind – all of mankind, including Noah and his family – are supposed to die so the new world can continue with only an innocent animal population.

The Ark has nothing to do with the salvation of mankind, but with its punishment. Noah was only chosen to save the animals, and he is so intent on fulfilling his task to see humanity destroyed that he announces to his family on the Ark that they must all die, for “the Creation is only safe when mankind is dead.” For this reason, when Noah learns that Shem’s wife is pregnant, he declares that he will murder her baby, if it is a girl, as soon as it is born!

The ensuing drama aboard the Ark has Mrs. Noah trying to help her expectant kids escape, a crazed Noah stalking his newly born twin granddaughters, and Shem and Ham trying to kill their father (especially after he sets fire to the couple’s escape raft). Add to the drama the evil meat-eating king of the old world, Tubal-Cain, who sneaked on board and remained hidden throughout the voyage, only to finally die in a knife fight with Noah when the Ark lands and breaks in two.

In the end, Noah spares his family because of “love.” Mankind is not so bad after all, for as Mrs. Noah explains, “all the heart needs is love to be good.” God, who has remained silent through the drama on the Ark, despite Noah’s pleas for divine guidance, is shown to have stayed away because, as Noah’s adopted Cainite daughter (the wife of Shem who had been miraculously cured of bareness by a healing touch from Methuselah) states, God wanted to let Noah chose whether mankind should live or not. So, in spite of the ecological hype, it is about humanism in the end. The film closes with newly sober Noah brandishing his snake-skin phylactery (a relic from the serpent in the Garden of Eden) and telling his kids to be “fruitful and multiply” as a rainbow appears (sans the Noahic covenant).

Yet this summary reflects the best part of the film. To get the real flavor of the added fiction one must consider the four-armed g Continue Reading »

Noah?

Please do not support this movie.

It is simply an act of insanity and very dangerous to tell the Biblical truthful story of Noah and not mention the word “God” anywhere in the script.

Noah will rile some for the complete omission of the name “God” from the dialogue, others for its numerous dramatic fabrications and still more for its heavy-handed ecological doomsday messages,

Instead of God telling Noah to build the ark, he gets it from hallucinogenic dreams about a coming world-wide environmental catastrophe.

It is dangerous to have this first step of a slippery slope out there.  It is deceptive and goes directly against God’s word.

We should not water down or be ashamed of any part of the Gospel or the God-Head / Trinity.  And that is what we do when we muddy the water on exactly where Noah got his direction from.  It was from God, the great I AM, not some fallible creator as the movie suggests that represents all religions.

Russell Crowe stars in Darren Aronofsky’s Bible-based epic

Darren Aronofsky wrestles one of scripture’s most primal stories to the ground and extracts something vital and audacious, while also pushing some aggressive environmentalism, in Noah. Whereas for a century most Hollywood filmmakers have tread carefully and respectfully when tackling biblical topics in big-budget epics aimed at a mass audience, Aronofsky has been daring, digging deep to develop a bold interpretation of a tale which, in the original, offers a lot of room for speculation and invention. The narrative of the global flood that wiped out almost all earthly life is the original disaster story, one that’s embraced by most of the major world religions, which means that conservative and literal-minded elements of all faiths who make it their business to be offended by untraditional renditions of holy texts will find plenty to fulminate about here. Already banned in some Middle Eastern countries, Noah will rile some for the complete omission of the name “God” from the dialogue, others for its numerous dramatic fabrications and still more for its heavy-handed ecological doomsday messages, which unmistakably mark it as a product of its time. But whether you buy these elements or not, this is still an arresting piece of filmmaking that has a shot at capturing a large international audience both for its fantasy-style spectacle and its fresh look at an elemental Bible story most often presented as a kiddie yarn.

The director/co-writer serves notice of his revisionism right away, mutating the opening line of Genesis into, “In the beginning there was nothing.” In the Bible’s ark story, God does most of the talking, whereas here, Noah does, at one point raging at the silent one he only calls the Creator, “Why do you not answer me?” This Noah, who receives his instructions about what to do from disturbing, quasi-hallucinatory visions, is presented as the last good man on Earth, the chosen one who will preserve the world’s life forms along with his immediate family while the wicked will be swept away, forcing humanity to make a fresh start.

One of the striking things about the Noah tale is that it presents a fallible Creator, one who admits to disappointments over shortcomings in the product of the sixth day of creation with the remark, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the ground, man and beast and creeping things and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” The exceptions are middle-aged Noah (Russell Crowe), his wife, Naameh (Jennifer Connelly), and sons Shem (Douglas Booth), Ham (Logan Lerman) and Japheth (Leo Carroll), who are estranged from the rest of humanity and live apart from it, struggling to survive in forbidding surroundings. Noah’s physical and mental toughness is strengthened by an abiding faith, and Crowe’s splendidly grounded work here recalls some of his finest earlier performances, notably in Gladiator, The Insider and Cinderella Man, in which he embodied values of tenacity, trustworthiness and resourcefulness that inspired confidence that his characters would do the right thing.

Now this is a hopeful message!!!

As a born-again Christian you are essentially a spiritual being. You are a creature that The Holy Spirit has sealed as “heavenly.” You are not an “earth dweller.” We belong in heaven, and our home is not here on this earth; our home is the Father’s House. Essentially we are ambassadors, sojourners and pilgrims in transit to our true home, which is in heaven.

Tired of the Rapture Mongers?

Part One

By Vernon Gray

Are you sick and tired of these Rapture ready Christians who are always on about Jesus coming for His church in an event called the Rapture?

Have you had enough of them forever going on about getting ready and preparing your life for His return? Do you also find excuses to ”switch off” when they get all excited about an event that you personally have no real connection with?

Do you find them annoying when all they seem to speak about is Jesus and the Rapture? Are you irritated by the constant drone of their take on “End Time” events and what is happening in the world around us as if they have some special knowledge?

Are you too disinterested when they harp on about the books of Revelation and Daniel? What about their rather negative world view especially when it comes to the New World Order, the Illuminati or the European Union to mention but a few. And of course they are constantly going on about Israel; “Blood Moons,” Jewish Feasts and “Signs of the Times “as they call it.

If you are any of the above this article is especially for you.

If you are a born-again Christian and you take the Bible seriously and the Rapture is not on your radar, you need to assess your theology and doctrinal stance. You could be in grave danger of being deceived by the god of this world. Chances are that you probably you have been influenced by liberal teachers from churches who discard prophecy and the doctrine of the Rapture as a “pathetic” pipe dream.

Do You Want to Know Why the Church Is Weak?

By Camilla Smith

The other day I heard a very famous preacher (a great one) speaking about why the church was so weak. Unfortunately I was in the car, pulling into the garage with groceries when the sermon was beginning and I didn’t get to hear very much of it. Obviously, I do not know what his conclusion was. But when I heard him pose the question to the congregation, “Why is today’s church so weak?” I blurted out “Because nobody preaches about the end times!”  The radio probably didn’t hear me, so that is why I am writing this down.  And that is what I truly believe.

I wonder if you polled churches of today, how many are pastors are teaching Bible prophecy? I mean really getting into the heart of it, week after week after week–not just a little two or three week series. To me, it is essential that Christians know and understand what is just around the corner. Satan certainly seems to have no trouble deciphering where we are in God’s prophetic timeline, so wouldn’t it stand to reason that Christians should have a pretty good grasp of it?  How else can we go on the offensive?

How many ministers in the average American church are teaching the truth about the Second Coming of Jesus?  Will they mention Israel and the God-given signs that have been fulfilled about God’s chosen people?  Are they talking about the Rapture?  Do they describe the Great Tribulation and go into detail?  Do they focus on the wrath of God and the rise of the Antichrist, the Millennial Kingdom and the New Heaven and the New Earth?  What about all those millions of demons that are going to be unleashed in that horrible seven year period between the Rapture and the Battle of Armageddon?

How many pastors are willing to go out there on a limb and talk about Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Thessalonians, and (should we say it?) Revelation? Oh, I don’t know about Revelation. Pretty scary stuff there.  Might offend someone. Besides, it is written in secret code and not meant for us to understand.

Whatever.

I am not a Bible scholar. I am not a Bible expert. I am barely a Bible student, but I am getting there. And the more I learn about Bible prophecy, the more I want to know. I cannot get enough of the stuff.  I don’t understand why more people are not demanding to hear what Bible prophecy is about.  Is it just not the most fascinating subject ever?  I believe God told Daniel to seal up his prophecy until the time of the end, and we are at the time of the end, so what’s the holdup?  We need to look into this! And that is exactly what a few great “end times” experts are doing today—unsealing the very intricate prophecy that was meant for the people of the last days—that would be US.  It is no wonder we are (well they are) figuring all this out. But these prophecy experts are few and far between and they can’t do it by themselves!  They need pastors to take it to the masses.

There is some end times prophecy that was meant specifically for the very people who would understand it, the people that it would be relevant to. Why else does it make sense to us?  We ARE that group of people. It is all beginning to make perfect sense now. It is all coming together in such an orchestrated manner that there is only one explanation—the God who knew the beginning to the end from the beginning, has put it in our grasp and customized His word for the people of this time in history.

Noah, Lot and Us

Ron and Nathele give a good comparison of our days to the days of Noah and Lot.

The part that hit home the most for me was:

All of this leads to the fact that we are very close to the time of the end. The Rapture will happen soon and after that God will pour out His wrath. Have you been putting off accepting Christ as your Savior because, you, like Lot, are lured by the wickedness of Sodom? Are you happy eating, drinking, and ignoring the evil around you? The time for delay is over. We cannot choose the time we live in, but we can choose where we spend eternity.

This question should be taken seriously for both Christian and non-Christian?  Have you taken up your cross daily?  Are you more of this world than of our Lord Jesus Christ?

Remember, the darker it gets, the brighter and farther our little light shines!

Maranatha, Lord come quickly!

Noah, Lot and Us

By Nathele Graham

Ron Graham was called home on March 14, 2013. He began writing this commentary before his death and had asked me, Nathele Graham, to continue his service to our Lord by finishing what he began.

And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark and the flood came, and destroyed them all” (Luke 17:26-27).

It sounds as if the days of Noah (Noe) were lots of fun. They ate and drank, they married. They were regular guys who just wanted to have fun, right? Not really. The days of Noah were filled with evil. It was all around and even touched the animals. It became so evil that God was forced to destroy all men, women, children, and animals. Knowing the love that God has for His creation, whatever went on, whatever the evil was, had to have been worse than anything we have seen. Or was it?

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:5).

That sounds a lot like today’s world. When we read the headlines in our newspapers we can’t ignore the fact that evil is increasing. Homosexuality, abortion, killers in movie theaters, cannibalism, child abductions and molestations, husbands killing wives, mothers killing children, leaders of nations committing genocide…I could fill this commentary with the evil that is all around us.

This evil is all satanically inspired as it always has been. Satan has tried for thousands of years to come between mankind and God and the events prior to the Flood of Noah were an all out effort to make the redemption of man impossible. He failed, as he always will, but Jesus referred to the days of Noah, and also the days of Lot, when explaining the end times to His disciples.

Understanding Genesis chapter 6 and the evil that was happening prior to the flood is imperative to enable a person to understand much of the Bible, and also for discerning the times in which we currently live. What was the evil that was so wicked in Noah’s day?

Many people believe that the wickedness that prompted God to destroy His creation, including men, women, children, animals, and vegetation, was that Seth’s sons married Cain’s daughters. Really? After Cain killed his brother Abel he was worried that he would be killed also.

And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him” (Genesis 4:15).

Those who buy into the Sethite view of Genesis 6 need to explain why God would protect Cain the murderer but destroy the entire Creation because Cain’s daughters and Seth’s sons married. I am amazed at the stories Satan plants in men’s minds in order to cover the truth. I’m amazed that people buy into Satan’s lies. There is no biblical support for the “Sethite” view.

On the other hand, if you believe God’s Word instead of contrived stories you will come to understand what was really happening in the days of Noah. It was pure evil and Scripture says it happened more than once.

It is an often asked question, and I thought a timely response from Pete Rose to post given some of my other posts and discussions that have been occurring recently.

I think one of our biggest mistakes as a church, is that we are so afraid to call sin, sin.  What takes more love, to talk to someone about a difficult topic of sin in their life and yours, showing you care about them, or to ignore what they are doing and go about your life and business?

Calling sin, sin and showing them the way either back to Christ or to Him for the first time is the most loving thing anyone can ever do for anyone else.

What happens to Christians who sin?

The first thing we need to consider in this discussion is our relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ.

Only those who have trusted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and experienced the second birth by faith in Him are truly Christians. There are many who claim to be Christians, but their only claim to Christianity may be church membership, giving money to a church or charitable organization, doing good works or just being a “good” person. Without Jesus they are lost.

Also, true Christianity requires more than just an intellectual assent to the fact of a Man named Jesus walking the earth doing miracles and the like. It involves a personal relationship with Jesus as your Lord and Savior and with God as your heavenly Father.

You can’t buy or earn your way into this relationship by giving money, doing good works, being a church member or anything else apart from Jesus. You must, by an act of your will, acknowledge that Jesus is Who He said He is, the Son of the living God and invite him to be a part of your life, to take up residence in your heart, your inner-man.

That being said, God deals with us in much the same manner as an earthly father deals with his children. When we obey, He rewards us. When we disobey, He chastises or disciplines us with the objective of correcting us and teaching us to obey. In a sense of the word, He gives us a spanking. See Hebrews 10. But we are still His children and He will never disown us.

Also we are to Jesus as sheep are to a shepherd. A shepherd’s job is to watch over his sheep, to protect them, to take them to pasture and bring them back safely to the sheepfold. If a particular sheep keeps running away, the shepherd may break its leg as a warning, but he does not abandon or disown it, but bandages the leg and nurses that sheep back to health. And so it is with us.

Jesus goes into this in considerable detail about this in John chapter 10, and gives us this promise:

“My sheep hear My voice and they follow Me, and I give to them eternal life and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father who gave them to me is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them from His hand. I and my Father are one.”  (John 10:27-30, emphasis mine).

It would be good to read that entire chapter.

In view of the foregoing, what does happen when a Christian sins? Some believe he loses his salvation. Some believe if one sins willfully he forfeits his salvation. Some believe if you backslide you become lost. And there are various shades of belief in between. But what does God the Father say? That’s what matters.

Amazing monologue on where we are headed as a nation.  We are forgetting history and are thus doomed to repeat it.  (Just like the ancient nation of Israel, to which God kept saying “remember”.)  The NAZI party was not a conservative Christian party it was the National Socialist party.  This paired with what Chris O’Dowd said in the article below really lays out where we are headed.  But of course, this is what God foretold through His prophets of old.  He told us these things so we would not be surprised as the world will be.

The New York Post had the following article this week that laid out a string of “mysterious deaths” that have occurred in the financial profession.  It is not a good time to be a financial big wig.

This caught my eye concerning the end times prophecy around a single world currency and financial establishment.  It just seems very fishy.  I mean look at the list below?

Take for example: Mike Dueker, 50, chief economist at Russell Investments and a former Federal Reserve bank economist

He “commit-ed suicide” by jumping a fence and falling down an embankment.  Now does that really sound like a way a 50 year old man would commit suicide?  It sounds more like he was running away from something.

Anyways, it is quite a list that keeps growing, take a look and see what you think.

Rash of finance pro suicides baffles experts

The financial world has been rattled by a rash of apparent suicides, with some of the best and brightest among the finance workers who have taken their lives since the start of the year.

A majority of the eight suicides of 2014 have been very public demonstrations, which has suicide-prevention experts puzzled.

“Jumping is much less common as a method for suicide in general, so I am struck by the number that have occurred in recent months in this industry,” said Dr. Christine Moutier, chief medical officer of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Moutier also discounts the location of the act as being the driver behind the reason for the suicide.

“The suicide-research literature doesn’t help very much with the question of why the method of these suicides is so out in the open,” she added.

MARCH 12: Kenneth Bellando, 28, an investment banker at Levy Capital, was found dead on the sidewalk outside his building on Manhattan’s East Side, after allegedly jumping from the sixth-story roof, sources said.

MARCH 11: Edmund (Eddie) Reilly, 47, a trader at Midtown’s Vertical Group, jumped in front of an LIRR train near the Syosset, NY, train station.

FEB. 28:  Autumn Radtke, CEO of First Meta, a cyber-currency exchange firm, was found dead outside her Singapore apartment. The 28-year-old American jumped from a 25-story building, authorities said.

FEB. 18: Li Junjie, a 33-year-old JPMorgan finance pro, leaped to his death from the roof of the company’s 30-story Hong Kong office tower, authorities said.

FEB. 3: Ryan Henry Crane, 37, a JPMorgan executive director who worked in New York, was found dead inside his Stamford, Conn., home. A cause of death in Crane’s case has yet to be determined as authorities await a toxicology report, a spokesperson for the Stamford Police Department said.

JAN. 31: Mike Dueker, 50, chief economist at Russell Investments and a former Federal Reserve bank economist, was found dead at the side of a road that leads to the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Washington state after jumping a fence and falling down an embankment, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.

JAN. 28: Gabriel Magee, 39, a vice president with JPMorgan’s corporate and investment bank technology arm in the UK, jumped to his death from the roof of the bank’s 33-story Canary Wharf tower in London.

JAN. 26: William Broeksmit, 58, a former senior risk manager at Deutsche Bank, was found hanged in a house in South Kensington, according to London police.

This is the beginning of a great series by JD.  It is oh so relevant to what we are seeing and feeling as Christians living in this fallen world.

The real question we must ask ourselves is: Am I living in this world for myself or for God?

Have I died to myself and am only living in this would not being “of this world”.  For those that are not “of this world”, this world will hate.  We are seeing that escalate.

The quote from JD that hit me the hardest was when he states:  We are at a crossroad of decision everyday of our lives.  Are we going to pick up our cross (die to self) and follow Christ today or are we going to live for ourselves (for our own gain) as part of this world.

That is what Jesus meant in Luke 9:23

Luke 9:23-26

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

23 And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me. 24 For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it. 25 For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself? 26 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

And do we really know the consequences of living for ourselves?

It was laid out for us in Matthew 6 and James 4:

Matthew 6:24

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.

James 4:4

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Notice the choice of words in Matthew.  We “CANNOT” serve two masters, this is a choice, and either or, and not something we should take lightly, also it is not a should or even something we could do if we really tried hard.

Second, James spells out the consequences of our choice, which took my breath away.  Me and enemy of God?  That is a very important daily decision.  Something I think many of us take way to lightly each and every morning.

If you wonder what it means to die to self and achieve absolute surrender.  There is an excellent book by Andrew Murray called Absolute Surrender.  He does a great job of laying out what it means and why it is so important in less than 100 pages.

We must choose to pick up our cross daily and not be ashamed of the Gospel.  We can not stand for a watered down version to appease their itchy ears.  It is so important in these last days.  God will do the work, we just need to stand up and let Him work through us.

Remember, the darker it gets, the brighter and farther our little light shines!

Maranatha, Lord come quickly!

I have seen a few articles recently on this topic, this one from therightscoop.com and another listed below from raptureready.com.  It is certainly one that is accelerating in these last days.

If you stop and think about it, I know we as Christians can feel it.  Even if it is something as small as feeling more uncomfortable talking about our faith in non-hostile settings, say at the park or work, or among friends.  It is just frowned upon even more than politics now and has the tendency to be a conversation killer.

I don’t think what he has outlined is far off.

This is where it has been heading, inexorably, inevitably, for some time now.

Here is the pic, spotted on Facebook earlier today:

chrisodowdreligion

And here is the story from The Sydney Herald.

O’Dowd has told Britain’s GQ magazine: “For most of my life, I’ve been, ‘Hey, I’m not into it, but I respect your right to believe whatever you want’. But as time goes on, weirdly, I’m growing less liberal. I’m more like, ‘No, religion is ruining the world, you need to stop!’.

“There’s going to be a turning point where it’s going to be like racism. You know, ‘You’re not allowed to say that weird s**t! It’s mad! And you’re making everybody crazy!’

“And you know, now America can’t have a president that doesn’t say he believes in God. So we’re f**ked! Like, they f**ked everything!

“You wanna go and live in your weird cult and talk about a man who lives in a cloud, you do that, but don’t.”

He also helpfully adds: “I mean, you really think that Barack Obama believes in God? No way!” The combination of hubris, smug superiority, and embarrassing fanboi hero worship for Obama is really ridiculous. But oh so very common. Liberals are the most predictable of all the animal herds.

This attitude is going to be more and more frequently spoken of. The forces of secular liberalism have no tolerance for Christianity, as I’ve outlined here at The Right Scoop on numerous occasions. And O’Dowd’s comments are coming out at the same time that atheist prophets and proselytizers Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye have been on TV as much as possible denigrating religious belief, with deGrasse Tyson just this week suggesting religious people “go back to their caves.”

And O’Dowd? Well he’s just correct. Religion will become unacceptable in America, if not literally at least popularly. Starting with Christianity. And sooner than you think. Just watch.

America’s Last Gleaming

by Terry James

We have, it seems, bred ourselves out of a biblically based, quasi-Christian culture in America and into one more in line with that which so sorely vexed Lot. It is a frightening prospect we now face.

While this is not to cast such dire aspersions upon all of the young within the nation–for I have some among them whom I love with all my heart as honorary grandchildren—the fact nonetheless is in front of us. America is faced with a deteriorating societal soul and this portents absolute disaster if things don’t change for the better. And, there’s only one change that can make the difference: Jesus Christ being brought back into the culture and residing at its center.

Jesus Christ being allowed to be marginalized by the God-haters and God-deniers, and now made a mocking, hated Name in our culture, is not the fault of the youth who are caught up in the tragedy. (And, this is not to excuse their own sins in any way.) It is us with whom the sin rests. The generations preceding the youth of today have decided that seeking and attaining material comforts and appropriating entertainment at the expense of attending to matters of morality have brought this nation to the brink of disaster.

I am aware that many upon whose toes I’m stepping will be angered by my thoughts–prayerfully considered though they are. The truth must be confronted, however.

Many–I would conjecture the majority—within Christianity today are part of this massive failure of nurturing our youth. The church, beyond any doubt whatsoever, is where the nurturing should be most pointed. But, the minds and spiritual hearts of a great many of those in the pew have been observably on things other than Bible truth and adherence to godly morality over these past couple of decades.

One particular blog piece struck hard at my thought processes this week and sparked this essay. Some of that piece follows.

Great commentary this week from Grant.

I think all of us that are trying to remain watchful feel and hear the deafening silence in both our churches and society today.

I remember when I first started studying prophecy, you had to really search to find the articles corresponding to scripture.  I use to make lists of them on my blog here to help others find them as they were hard to find sometimes.  But I finally stopped a year or so back as they just became too much, I would have 3-4 pages of articles every couple of days.  Today it is even greater.  You can hardly pick up any news publication without seeing something that relates to end times prophecy.  It is truly all around us and can be overwhelming…

The Silence Is Deafening

By Grant Phillips

I’ve heard of the silent majority most of my life. They have resided in the churches, the neighborhoods, and the workplaces. I’ve met them in the restaurants, in the shopping centers, and at family reunions. The problem is they aren’t as noticeable as they once were. Their numbers are dwindling, rapidly.

The voices of celebration are getting louder and louder.

“When Joshua heard the boisterous noise of the people shouting below them, he exclaimed to Moses, “It sounds like war in the camp!” But Moses replied, “No, it’s not a shout of victory nor the wailing of defeat. I hear the sound of a celebration.” Exodus 32:17-18 (NLT)

While we, the silent majority, sat back and said nothing, Satan sneaked in the back door with a whole bag full of surprises. Now we stretch and yawn while looking around us, thinking, “What happened?”

Actually, I’m not sure there ever was a silent majority.

“Finally, he turned to Aaron and demanded, “What did these people do to you to make you bring such terrible sin upon them?” “Don’t get so upset, my lord,” Aaron replied. “You yourself know how evil these people are. They said to me, ‘Make us gods who will lead us. We don’t know what happened to this fellow Moses, who brought us here from the land of Egypt.’ So I told them, ‘Whoever has gold jewelry, take it off.’ When they brought it to me, I simply threw it into the fire—and out came this calf!” Moses saw that Aaron had let the people get completely out of control, much to the amusement of their enemies.” Exodus 32:21-25 (NLT)

Obviously the majority were the evil people Aaron kowtowed to. Aaron was later to be the first of the Levi priesthood, the high priest at that, but at this time he was a sniffling coward, especially when compared to his brother Moses. Not only was he a spineless coward, he was also a liar. He was willing to trade what he knew was right in the eyes of God to participation in sin to appease the people. He didn’t want to “make any waves” in other words. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but why “rock the boat.” Let’s just please everybody. My goodness, don’t offend anyone!

I think Joshua would have stood up against them, but he was half way up the mountain with Moses. Surely there were many others who knew it was wrong to be worshipping a golden calf and dancing naked in the streets, but no one said a word.

Fast forward to the 21st century and guess what is happening today? People are dancing naked in the streets while worshipping the golden calf of greed, homosexuality, sexual escapades, entertainment, wealth, watered-down religion, and a continuing on-going list of putrid festered sins against God.

Almighty God miraculously delivered the Israelites from Egypt and did nothing less miraculous in delivering this United States of America from her enemies over the past 200 plus years. Are we grateful? How grateful is a child that is spoiled all their life? Don’t they normally turn out being ungrateful brats, even hating their own parents? We have forgotten that our blessings have come from God, not the work of our own hands. Maybe that is why we no longer want anything to do with God in this country. We’ve kicked Him out of our schools, our courts, our military, our government, our entertainment, and even our homes.

In my opinion, we are the most blessed country this earth has ever seen. We have been blessed not just spiritually but materially in ways that make other countries jealous. Even our poorest of the poor are rich in the eyes of others in some third world countries. Are we grateful? Many of our people are grateful. Many have given their lives because they were grateful.

Believe it or not, even today, many still realize that we have been blessed for one reason. That reason is that we started out in the beginning worshiping the one and only true God, our Creator. We acknowledged the second person of the Godhead as Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Even those who did not place their faith in Him still respected Him and His people. That crowd is dwindling fast.

Satan has attacked us from Hollywood to Washington D.C. He has thrown every tempting vice possible our way, and we have succumbed to his temptations as did Adam and Eve. Sadly, only a few have spoken up for Christ over the last several years. Satan’s crowd has been able to throw their garbage at us with very little resistance on our part.

I can remember when Jesus Christ was glorified from most of the pulpits and pews of America. Now, He is vilified. Most of those great warriors of God have gone on to be with our Lord. Few remain. Most of the churches now are social centers used primarily for politically correct, feel-good, fuzzy, tingly, give me goose bumps pep rallies for rebellion against God.

The world is now telling the church what it should preach. We are never to offend anyone, but how can that be? The Gospel is offensive. So what do we do? We stop preaching the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We should never address sin. So what happens? Sin runs rampant, not just in the back alleys, but in the churches.

We should never say there is just one way to God. We should say there are many. We just pick the one that suits us best. Now what? Mass confusion is the result with the masses going to hell, because the church desires more to be politically correct than Biblically correct.

It is my opinion that Christ’s return must be very close. None of us know when, but He did command that we watch for the signs of His return. They are here, now. They are all around us. They are multiplying and intensifying as we draw closer to our Lord’s return.

Jesus says in Luke 18:8, “I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” I believe He is referring specifically to His Second Coming at the end of the seven year Tribulation, but we can see true faith in God diminishing rapidly even now.

As the clock ticks down to Christ’s return, we who know Him as Savior and Lord need to speak up, loudly and clearly. I realize that fewer and fewer are listening, but it isn’t our job to make them listen. It is our job to speak. Let us boldly tell them about the Good News, the Gospel. Let us warn them that He is coming soon. Many will laugh and mock, but some, when in Heaven, will thank us for speaking out.

The silence from the Church has been deafening too long.

I found this out on the web.  It really resonated with me and matches my feelings on this very explosive topic of homosexuality these days.  I have always struggled to put it into words, but Bizzle captured them very well.  He is true to Gods word as well. (Except for some tough words on racism/comparisons in the middle, though it is a very honest comparison to the atrocities that have happened in our past, I think it was very well said and on point, especially the truths about sin and our response to sin in our lives, we all have it.)

After what happened at the Grammy’s, I just felt like this world was slipping faster during these last days.  Evil is on display and very few called it what it was.

Read the lyrics as you listen to it, and see if it doesn’t resonate with your heart and soul.

It might seem small but it is something that has always really bothered me.  Bizzle hits on it in his song:

And that rainbow you using as a gay pride symbol (you stole that)
It represents a covenant with God if you didn’t know
Check Genesis 9:13 for the info

Genesis 9:13 – (NKJV)

13 I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

Isn’t that just like satan to take something that is good and flip it.

Woe to he who calls evil good and good evil…

Our calling sin, sin is out of love, not hate.  Satan always flips things 180 degrees, that is what we are seeing here.

We all struggle with sins, different sins, each and every one of us but sin is sin none the less.  Some days we win, some days we lose, but we must fight the good fight.  We don’t give up and give into sin just because we lose a battle.  We stand up, ask God for forgiveness and fight on.

God is the answer.  We need to not give up fighting.  God forgives His children and understands our weaknesses and strengths he made us and has know us from before birth.  We are all God’s children through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Amen! Amen!

Remember, the darker it gets, the brighter and farther our little light shines!

Maranatha, Lord come quickly!

Lyrics:

But understand this, that in the last days
There will come times of difficulty
For people will be lovers of self
Lovers of money, proud, arrogant
Abusive, disobedient to their parents
Ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable
Slanderous, without self-control, brutal
Not loving good, treacherous, reckless
Swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God
Having the appearance of godliness
But denying its power

Woe to he who calls evil good and good evil…

[Verse: Bizzle]
It’s funny how the media portrays things
They really pushing hard for this gay thing
And it’s so wicked how they manipulate things
Can’t even disagree without them making it a hate thing
I say you wrong, and you holla “hate” instantly
But you say we the ones who don’t tolerate differences
There’s a whole lot of things I could say really
But, see your hypocrisy is something I could paint vividly
Saying, it’s the way you was born, and I’m sure that
You lust just like I do just in a different form
But I’m married so if I give into mine, I’m a cheater
If you give into yours, you just fight to make it legal
You rather fight God, then fight sin
The Bible is alright, until it calls what you like sin
And I feel so disrespected that you were so desperate
You would compare your sexual habits to my skin (What?!?)
Calling it the new black
Tell me where they do that
They hung us like tree ornaments, where were you at?
They burned us for entertainment, you go through that?
Mom’s raped in front of they kids, while they shoot dad
Ever been murdered just for trying to learn how to read bro? (Nope.)
A show of hands?
I didn’t think so
So, quit comparing the two. It ain’t the same fight
You can play straight. We can never play white
Using black people as pawns for yo’ agenda
And these sell out rappers will do whatever you tell em’
Skirts on stages, campaigning for that black vote
Afraid to be blackballed, so they play that role
You were never oppressed, the devil was a liar
The only thing oppressed was yo sexual desire
Keeping yo’ desires oppressed is so lame to you
But when you get married, that’s what you expect yo’ mate to do
It angers you, if I compare you to a pedophile
Cuz’ he sick, right?
And you’re better how?
(Man, I ain’t choose this.)
You think he chose that?
(But, I was born this.)
Well, prove he wasn’t born that
But, you were never a girl
He was once nine
So at one time in his life, it was just fine
What makes your loss right?
I’m not buying it
So, put him in that same trash can you threw that bible in
See how that cycle is?
Nobody wants to repent of they evil
So, we all try justifying it
And you say it’s about rights, but you lying tho
Domestic partnerships gave you rights a long time ago
God created marriage, when he did, he defined it tho’
So why is it you want we He created, but deny Him tho?
It’s not wicked enough, switching the definition?
You want it done by a Christian in a church he worships in?
And that rainbow you using as a gay pride symbol (you stole that)
It represents a covenant with God if you didn’t know
Check Genesis 9:13 for the info
Homie, the war is spiritual, you don’t know what you in fo’
I ain’t sayin’ yo’ sin is worse, but it is sin tho
The Lord took the punishment for it all on Him tho (Praise God)
We just gotta repent tho
The problem is if you don’t call it sin, then
You walk as if there’s nothing to repent for
Let’s recap:
We all wicked and desire sin
But imagine a world where no one kept there desires in
If something was called right cuz’ simply we desired it
When yo’ right goes against my right, who’s right would win
As for being born that way
I should never see ya’ll
Ever see use a word like “retard”
To describe someone who was born a little differently than we are
I guess down syndrome really isn’t a thing ya’ll
What do we call yo’ syndrome?
Oh, that term is offensive now when it hits home?
So, what gives you the right to call the way he was born a defect?
I call yours a defect, you feel it’s disrespect
You don’t believe in God?
Hey, the universe says if we all gay
We either die off or have to do it God’s way
And God loves you no matter what you struggle with
At least struggle tho, don’t just give up and quit
Forget how you were born
We were all born in sin
But Christ died for your sin
You can be born again (Praise God for forgiveness)
We were all born in sin
But Christ died so we can be born again
Hallelujah!

[Outro: Bizzle]
And I never want to act like
All gay people are the same because that’s ignorant
But at the same time
What I won’t allow you to do
Is paint this beautiful picture
Like we don’t have people from the LGBT community out here
Running up in churches, disrupting services
Kissing on the pulpit
Out here attacking old ladies
Throwing crosses down and stomping em’
Violently assaulting people
So don’t take my most aggressive lines that you know are to that group
And try to apply it to the friendliest
Lovingest gay person because that’s not the case
And to that struggling Christian right now
Struggling with homosexuality
Fight the good fight soldier
No matter what anybody says
We all have different desires
We all are drawn toward different sin
And my desire might not be your desire
But I have a desire that’s just as strong for another sin
And I have to fight it day in and day out
And sometimes I win and sometimes I lose
Sometimes I stand and sometimes I fall
But fight the good fight
God is worth it
God bless you
No hate about it
I love you

“Jesus Christ was the most perfect being to ever walk this planet and he was persecuted and nailed to the cross, so please don’t be surprised when we get a little static.”
– Phil Robertson, speaking at his church Sunday.

The Daily Mail this evening posted an exclusive story regarding remarks made by Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson to his Bible study group this morning at his home church in West Monroe, Louisiana.

At the conclusion of the Bible study, Robertson reportedly stated “I will not give or back off from my path because you conquered death, Father, so we are not worried about all the repercussions.”

During his talk to the group, he is quoted as saying (h/t The Lid):

‘I have been immoral, drunk, high. I ran with the wicked people for 28 years and I have run with the Jesus people since and the contrast is astounding.

‘I tell people, “You are a sinner, we all are. Do you want to hear my story before I give you the bottom line on your story?”

‘We murder each other and we steal from one another, sex and immorality goes ballistic. All the diseases that just so happen to follow sexual mischief… boy there are some microbes running around now.

‘Sexual sins are numerous and many, I have a few myself. So what is your safest course of action? If you’re a man, find yourself a woman, marry them and keep your sex right there.

‘You can have fun, but one thing is for sure, as long as you are both healthy in the first place, you are not going to catch some debilitating illness, there is safety there.

‘Commonsense says we are not going to procreate the human race unless we have a man and a woman. From the beginning Jesus said, “It is a man and a woman.” Adam was made and Eve was made for this reason. They left their fathers and mothers and be united to become one flesh, that’s what marriage is all about.

‘But we looked at it and said it was an outdated stereotype. When you look back at the human race, the sins have always been the same: We get high, we get drunk, we get laid, we steal and kill.

‘Has this changed at all from the time God burnt up whole cities because their every thought was evil?’

Robertson also added: “Jesus Christ was the most perfect being to ever walk this planet and he was persecuted and nailed to the cross, so please don’t be surprised when we get a little static.”

You can read more of Robertson’s remarks here.

We must all stand with Phil!

It is not just his opinion and our mutual beliefs but God’s word.

1 Corinthians 6:8-11

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

On the contrary, you yourselves wrong and defraud. You do this even to your brethren.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [a]effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

‘Duck Dynasty’ debate explodes from TV to dinner tables, water coolers

Todd Starnes

By Todd Starnes

Published December 20, 2013

FoxNews.com

The most popular reality show in cable television history has sparked a heated national debate, laying bare a national rift over gay rights and free speech and prompting politicians, entertainers and ordinary folks to enter the cultural fray.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, as well as former GOP presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin, have all come to the defense of ‘Duck Dynasty’ star Phil Robertson, whose statements condemning homosexuality angered many and earned him an “indefinite suspension” from the A&E network. With families gathering for the holidays next week, it seems likely ‘Duck Dynasty’ will dominate many dinner table debates.

What won’t be as clear is whether the hit show will go on. A statement from the Robertson family released late Thursday raised doubts about the Louisiana clan’s willingness to continue after comments from patriarch Phil Robertson triggered an uproar.

“We have had a successful working relationship with A&E but, as a family, we cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm,” the Robertson family said in a prepared statement. “We are in discussions with A&E to see what that means for the future of Duck Dynasty.”

The family said it has “spent much time in prayer” since learning A&E had suspended Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the Louisiana family, over comments he made about homosexuality.

Robertson sparked a national debate on religion and tolerance in an interview with GQ magazine. The writer asked him what he considered to be sinful behavior.

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men,” Robertson said.

Then he paraphrased Paul’s letter to the Corinthians: “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers — they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”

The family defended Robertson’s comments and stressed that they are a “family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word.”

I couldn’t believe it when I read these two articles.

The first one brought a tear to my eye.  My beloved incandescent light bulbs are officially kaput after Jan. 1st.

That is right, our benevolent government has decided that to save on power consumption (save the environment), we should all switch to fluorescent light bulbs CFL’s which contain the deadly poison, mercury.   Enough mercury that you are directed to by law have an $4-6k hazmat clean up if you break one in your home.  Bulbs that we are supposed to dispose of at a special disposal site, not you household trashcan.  That is better for the environment than a little more power consumption?  How often do we think that will actually happen?

BUT…

We can no longer use led bullets, because of lead poisoning dangers to the environment.  Instead, we are going to use copper, which is a much scarcer resource than lead and will be much more expensive.  Have you seen all of the copper theft stories in the news the last few years?

So Lead is worst than mercury?  Do we really think more bullets will end up in the trash than light bulbs?

Common sense is dead, the world is upside down and deception is around every corner, just as Christ said it would be.

On a positive note, we do still have a few bright folks left.  Larry Birnbaum has invented a new legal version of the incandescent light bulb: Newcandescent.  I included a link below as well.  Genius!

I’m not generally the religious type but this was an excellent song that someone had given to me on a CD on my truck while I was at work. This is NOT mine and I refuse to take credit, I could not find this anywhere on YouTube so I decided to upload it. Enjoy 🙂

Lyrics: When it it comes to this season I am reminded of the past. Over 300 messianic prophesies came to pass, with the birth of a child, both god and man. Our deliverer of sin, born with a battle plan. Sin waged war in our lives since the day of our birth, but now the deliverer, our rescuer has come to break that curse. That which has separated the father on this earth is about to be defeated by our king and lord, oh Mary did you know.

Mary did you know, that your baby boy will one day walk on water.Mary did you know, that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters. Did you know, that your baby boy has come to make you new. This child that you delivered will soon deliver you.

The punishment that brought us peace was upon him and by his wounds we are healed. He made an appeal to the father, our judged by his death on our behalf. Satan never anticipating the aftermath. The chains are broken, the captives are set free. The oppressed to depress can lift their heads cause we are free indeed. Our redemption sealed by the blood through the sacrifice of the one. Born to die so that you and I can find the life he died for to ensure forever more the cure for death. Oh Mary did you know.

Mary did you know, that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man. Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand. Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels tried, and when you kiss your little baby you have kissed the face of God. Oh Mary did you know.

It is finished my debt is payed in full, can i ever fully grasp what it took to save their soul. But I will lift my head, and I will bare my cross, I have been sanctified by the blood so Satan can count his loss. The victory is mine by birthright, reborn in his name. Authority over evil because of the price that he payed. I see the heavens opened wide and seeded out the right hand of God. He’s the one and only son, the rescuer of the world. Seeding and glory and authority.

The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will live again. The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the pain that is his life. Did you know that your baby boy is heavens perfect lamb. Then sleep sweet child sleep. He is the perfect lamb. Oh Mary did you know.

All this is by ear so if some is incorrect my apologies ahead of time

The Hard Truth…

John 14:6

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

He did not say He is “a” way or “a” truth, or “a” life.  No he was very emphatic about who He is and God has been very clear on what His name is, the reverence we should give it, and the power it holds!

Moses understood this. When he encountered the call of God that came from the burning bush, Moses asked God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?” (Ex. 3:13, ESV). God answered Moses, “I Am Who I Am” (v. 14). God told Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations” (v. 15).

Oh how far we have all fallen.  Very good article, be sure to read it entirely…

Do Christians and Muslims Serve the Same God?

Does God care what we call Him? Do Muslims and Christians worship the same God? These are questions many Christians are asking these days, and for good reason.

For some time now, feminist theologians and a host of others have suggested that Christians should adopt new names for God. One denomination went so far as to affirm names like “Giver, Gift and Giving” in place of “Father, Son and Holy Spirit” to be used in worship. Feminist theologians have demanded that masculine pronouns and names for God be replaced with female or gender-neutral terms. But to change the name of God is to redefine the God we reference. Changing the name of God is no small matter.

As a matter of fact, God takes His name very seriously, and the Ten Commandments include the command that we must not take the name of the Lord in vain. We are to use the names God has given for Himself, and we are to recognize that God takes His name seriously because He desires to be rightly known by His human creatures. We cannot truly know Him if we do not even know His name.

Moses understood this. When he encountered the call of God that came from the burning bush, Moses asked God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?” (Ex. 3:13, ESV). Amazing what we are seeing.  How deluded and arrogant is Man to think that we are the cause of the global cooling, when God designed this world and controls every aspect of it.  Many are deceived indeed.

Volcanic activity and the earthquakes that precede and follow them are one of the signs we are supposed to look for.

Matthew 24:4-8

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

By Michael Snyder, on December 5th, 2013Volcano Eruption

Have you noticed that this December is unusually cold so far?  Could the fact that we have had a record number of volcanoes erupt in 2013 be responsible?  Certainly an unusually calm solar cycle is playing a significant role in producing all of this cold weather, but as you will see below the truth is that throughout human history volcanic eruptions have produced some of the coldest winters ever recorded.  In fact, there have been some major eruptions that have actually substantially reduced global temperatures for two to three years.  So should we be alarmed that the number of volcano eruptions this year was the highest ever recorded?  Could it be possible that we are heading for a period of global cooling as a result?  And if the planet does cool significantly, could that lead to widespread crop failures and mass famine?  Don’t think that it can’t happen.  In fact, it has happened before and it is only a matter of time until it happens again.

I knew that we were seeing an unusual amount of volcanic activity around the planet so far this year.  In fact, I wrote about it in my recent article entitled “Why Have 10 Major Volcanoes Along The Ring Of Fire Suddenly Roared To Life?“  But I had no idea that we were on the verge of a new yearly record.  So I was shocked when I visited the Extinction Protocol today and discovered that we have witnessed a record number of volcano eruptions in 2013…

Big Prophetic Question

The Obama administration has just led the international community in pulling the proverbial rug out from under Israel. In putting the finishing touches on my book, Cauldron: Supernatural Implications of the Current Middle East (hopefully to be released between March and April of 2014), I wrote the following in part:

Sunday, November 24, 2013, the Obama Administration, with Secretary of State John Kerry in the lead, joined with the international community in making an agreement with the Iranian regime that many view as a betrayal of Israel.

Just as the sanctions against Iran for pursuing development of a nuclear program to produce atomic weaponry was beginning to make an impact, the U.S., in concert with the world powers that constitute the international community, agreed to lift part of those economic sanctions on Iran for six months. The Islamic republic promised to cooperate with the international nuclear observers and to limit its enrichment of uranium.

The Israeli leadership–which wasn’t privy to the behind-the scenes-dealings–wasn’t deceived by the near jubilation displayed by the cabalist diplomats’ actions. The Israelis realize that in Islam, it is not only okay to lie in negotiations with enemies, it’s preferred. Ends justify means, just as in the Marxist playbook for dealing with adversaries. The Obama team was apparently not as immune to the venomous deception as Benjamin Netanyahu and his leadership team.

The Israeli Prime Minister said, “What was reached last night in Geneva is not a historic agreement, it is a historic mistake. Today the world became a much more dangerous place because the most dangerous regime in the world made a significant step in obtaining the most dangerous weapons in the world.” Israel’s minister of intelligence, Yuval Steinitz, added that the deal was based on “Iranian deception and international self-delusion.”

Israel, based upon a long history of dealing with treacherous enemies, is skeptical of Iran’s claims that its nuclear program is Continue Reading »

Great article this week by Todd at Rapture Ready…

It is so true, I know you will be nodding your head as you read like I did.

It is so hard to get anyone to pay attention to the signs all around us, every way we turn.

“You would have to be blind to miss them.”  I find myself muttering to myself over and over, but that is what people are: spiritually blinded by a lengthy state of apathy.

We are all susceptible to it, especially if we are not focused on the Lord’s work and drift back to the things of this world that will be “burned up”.  It is easy to do at this time of the year, which is crazy because we should be so focused on our Saviors birth and not the things of this world.

Dec 2, 2013  – Nearing Midnight

Apathy Like I’ve Never Seen It Before

Most people who consider themselves to be students of Bible prophecy are familiar with the signs of the times. Some of the most common signs are warfare, earthquakes, floods, immorality or any political activity related to Israel. Of course the Bible warns us that these precursors to the Tribulation hour will increase—as we get closer to the end.

Most people don’t realize that apathy is the greatest indication of the last days. You could almost call it the anti-sign. Jesus talked more about the lack of awareness than any other sign of the times. The Lord was so insistent about getting this point across, He repeated himself four times in the space of a few verses. He also included a story about the ten virgins to illustrate the point of the surprise Rapture.

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36).

“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come” (Matthew 24:42).

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 24:44).

“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 25:13).

We live in a period that is both exciting and frustrating at the same time. It’s exciting because we know all the warning signs seem to say something big is about to happen. What makes it frustrating is the inability of most people to grasp our close proximity to judgment.

Apathy is a rather sinister thing because it eats away at our ability to comprehend the significance of other birth pang signs. Prophetic discernment is a crucial factor in knowing where we are on God’s timeline. Apathy is the main reason awareness has gone into a stunning free fall. We live in an age when even the most dire, warning signs fail to draw people’s attention.

Just a couple weeks ago we had horrendous typhoon in the Pacific. The storm set a number of records, and is just one of many that have occurred in recent years. As far as prophetic significances goes, I’ve never seen a disaster of this magnitude get so little attention. Years ago, the Haiyan typhoon would inspire people to write books about how it fits into prophecy.

In the past few weeks there have been several stories about the practicality of fitting people with electronic implants. I remember in the 80s and 90s any news story remotely related to the mark of the beast would trigger a wave of wild speculation by a group of people who specialized in the subject. Today not only is the chatter gone, the 666 watchers have also vanished.

I think the main reason why apathy has become so widespread is a historic lack of peril. No other generation has been less removed from dangers like: financial calamity, disease, and global warfare. Even though the potential threats continue to grow, the real danger remains elusive. I think the reason for this state of tranquility is that that we are prophetically in a great calm before the storm. Once the Tribulation hour starts there will be enough judgment for everyone.

The one positive aspect of apathy is that it aids the progression of prophecy. Because people are not watchful, events progress purely from the lack of opposition. I see us rapidly moving to the point where we could witness the global police state that the Word of God predicts. We keep losing our freedoms because the devil has deceived people into thinking they don’t need to worry about their liberties.

The cure of apathy is devotion, and a good way to stay alert is for every Christians to be productive in their spiritual lives. If you are busy about the Lord’s work, the moss of apathy won’t have time to grow on you. Because the Rapture is a clock-stopping event, it is critical that we realize what limited time we have here on earth.

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness” (2 Peter 3:10-11).

In Romans 10 Paul lays out how salvation is open to all, Jew and Gentile.  He writes:

What he is saying is now it is not about works or how closely to a “T” you follow the law.  But that it is through God’s gift of grace through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.  It is really that simple, and yet a hard step for some of us.

Connecting the Dots…

There are a lot of interesting prophecies intersecting right now.  For those that have not been paying attention they probably missed the few headlines that these preliminary events drew but they were really huge.

First, a few months back, Sec. of State John Kerry announced to the world that the Middle East peace plan was on a 9 month track that would end during April 2014.  And not just anytime in April but on the exact day of a Jewish Feast.

Second, we also have signs in heaven that are going to occur between now and then as the Comet ISON will make its almost month-long appearance in the sky during the month of December.  Then in April of next year, we will have the first of two blood moons, both on Jewish Feast days and also corresponding to the “conclusion” of the peace process as mentioned above.

“…four blood moons coming over the next two years – on the Jewish Passovers on April 15, 2014, and April 4, 2015, and the Feasts of Tabernacles on Oct. 8, 2014, and Sept. 28, 2015.”
Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2013/10/blood-moons-expert-watch-2014-and-2015/#mWAgYr1pIFZzJWkd.99

And it is not just this time, only 3 other times has a single Blood moon occurred in the last 100 years and all three fall on key years/dates for Israel…

… lunar eclipses foretell things about ISRAEL, and solar eclipses foretell things about other nations.  So I go back and look up solar eclipses with these dame characteristics and what I found is ASTOUNDING!!!  This type of lunar eclipse has happen three previous times in the last 100 years.  They happened in 1948, 1967, and 1973!!  If you know your history, you know that these dates are all dates of every war Israel has fought since her birth in 1948!!!  This eclipse is announcing another war – this time it’s the Ezekiel 38/Psalms 83 war that we’ve been expecting to blow up anytime now.  Every single one of these wars started ONE WEEK TO THE DAY after their corresponding eclipses…   <Full Article/Post>

Third, we now hear that the Iranian Nuke deal (that is really not a deal at all) will have a freeze for 6 months.  That time concluding at the same time in April as the Blood Moons and the Israel/Palestinian peace deal.  Coincidence?  Before you answer let me add in one other tidbit from the past.

Side note:  Is it just me or is Israel standing alone just as the Lord predicted in Zechariah 12:3. Netanyahu even said all of the other nations would regret it and we would be “severely injured”.

Zechariah 12:3 (NASB)

It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely [a]injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.

The last time there was a Blood Moon, it was on a Jewish Feast day of Yom Kippur, which was also the time the Yom Kippur War broke out in the Middle East in 1973.  So I ask you again:  coincidence?  No way!  Something is headed our way and it is all aligning, just as God has foretold us through His word, the Bible.

Jesus said in John 14:

John 14:29 (NASB)

29 Now I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe.

He did not want us to be surprised by these things or ignorant of them.  We are not to be scared or worried, but to rejoice for He is in control and has promised to keep us (His bride) from the worst.  It is our blessed assurance.

Titus 2:12-14 (NASB)

12 [a]instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of [b]our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, 14 who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.

  1. Titus 2:12 Or disciplining
  2. Titus 2:13 Or the great God and our Savior

We need to stand on the Rock and be lights unto this world as it is growing dark, very dark indeed.  Can you feel it?  I can.  Things are backwards, opposite, and upside down in almost every way and every area of life now.  Isaiah prophesied it would be during the last days.

Isaiah 5:20 (NASB)

20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who [a]substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who [b]substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

Footnotes:

  1. Isaiah 5:20 Lit set
  2. Isaiah 5:20 Lit set

We are seeing this come to light all around us, in every area of our lives.  Christianity is held up as a hateful religion and Islam is a religion of Peace.  Marriage is bad, unless it is between two members of the same-sex.  Our 2nd amendment and the death penalty is held up as evil, but the killing of an unborn child is considered a right to avoid the “inconvenience” of giving birth and raising them.  If you think the Sun’s cycles may have more to do with the hot and cold trends of our planet than man ever could, you are considered a flat earther/idot.  We can now be charged a tax for simply breathing due to the affordable care act. And today we find our world governments and banks, looking to charge people money to deposit (hold) their money for them and in turn block them from taking it out when they want.

Good is Evil and Evil is Good.  The world is upside down and so few seem to notice!  How distracted have we become?

Isaiah was right.  God was right.  This is a sinful world and we should strive, as adopted children of God, to be “not of this world” but aliens in a foreign land.  Visitors.  Doing His will until He comes back to claim His bride (the church).

Watch this weeks prophecy update from JD, he does an excellent job at tying together the dots and why this is sound doctrine.  Christ will come to rapture His church very soon!

Maranatha, Lord come quickly!

Can you feel it?  I feel it deep down in my soul.  Evil is on the march and at every turn is taking over our society, this world.  What is good is called evil and what is evil is considered good.  The deception is so great and so many are decieved.  They are so deceived it is hard to know where to begin in trying to unravel the deception that has been cast upon them.

Where can we turn?  Where should we turn?  To God, usually the last place we turn, unfortunately, but He has promised us peace and comfort if we will turn back to Him.

We can rest assured that however great the evil is that is now enveloping the world, God is greater.  He has overcome this world and will be coming back soon for His bride, the church – true believers in Christ.  Those that hold firmly to Christ’s words:

John 14:5-7

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Thomas *said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?” Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Oneness with the Father

If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.” (emphasis mine)

You can not get any clearer than that statement.  He did not say “I am A way, and A truth, and A life…”  No He is THE Way, and THE Truth, and THE Life.  That is the truth we must accept and humble ourselves before Him, laying our pride and worldly desires aside, and follow Him.

It is our blessed hope, our blessed assurance that we are not destined to suffer through the times ahead but to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, in heaven – our true home.

A New Muslim Vision: Rebuilding Solomon’s Temple Together
As a devout Muslim, it would be a joy for me to see Prophet Solomon’s Temple rebuilt as well. No, you did not hear me wrong. Prophet Solomon’s Temple being rebuilt in all its magnificence and glory would be a great delight for me, as it would be to any Muslim. Under different circumstances, in an atmosphere of trust, love and brotherhood, Muslims would welcome this with enthusiasm. The Temple of Solomon is also a historically important place, and rebuilding it would be a wonderful occasion for all believers to contemplate.

Surprise double update this week on Syria, the hour we find ourselves in, and a great breakdown of Paul’s discussion of the Rapture in 1 Thessalonians and 2 Thessalonians.

At the end of the first video JD gives an amazing breakdown of what Communion should mean to us and what the Lord was really saying to the disciples and the church.  We take such a shallow look at things so many times and it is so refreshing to hear the truth and dig deep into the Lord’s word to us.  His blessed reassurance!

I hope you all have been following the avalanche of headlines/articles on Syria and Egypt.  I have not posted much on them as there is simply too much and it is so plentiful that you would have to be blind to miss it.  We are seeing Isaiah 17 and Isaiah 19 being fulfilled and the stage set for Psalms 83 and Ezekiel 38.

The article below jumped out at me this morning as I was scanning the blaze for headlines.  I have been amazed at how quickly the world has flipped in the last couple of days, it is truly breathtaking.  Reading the article Putin sounds like the voice of reason with our US administration as the spoiled rotten child calling names and assigning ownership in hysterics.  It is really astounding.   I heard one commentator stating that we lost our world power status this week to Russia.  If that is the case, then it would certainly address the question that has troubled many prophecy students in the years past and present:  Where is the US during the last days?  Folks we may have just gotten our answer.

I couldn’t believe the response from the WH printed at the end.  It is so childish and lacking in adult leadership.  It sounds more like a four-year old that lost a fight with his older brother than a government official.

That’s all irrelevant,” the White House official said in response. “He put this proposal forward and he’s now invested in it. That’s good. That’s the best possible reaction. He’s fully invested in Syria’s CW disarmament and that’s potentially better than a military strike – which would deter and degrade but wouldn’t get rid of all the chemical weapons. He now owns this. He has fully asserted ownership of it and he needs to deliver.

Unbelievable!  The world is truly upside down…

Russian President Vladimir Putin Speaks ‘Directly to the American People’ on Syria, Jabs ‘Exceptionalism’

Sep. 11, 2013 9:20pm

Recent developments in Syria prompted Russian President Vladimir Putin to “speak directly to the American people and their political leaders.” In order to do that, he reached out to the New York Times to publish an op-ed about the implications of “war and peace” and the consequences of taking military action against Syria.

“Relations between us have passed through different stages,” Putin writes. “We stood against each other during the cold war. But we were also allies once, and defeated the Nazis together. The universal international organization — the United Nations — was then established to prevent such devastation from ever happening again.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin Speaks Directly to the American People in NY Times Op Ed

The Russian leader stressed that Syria is “not witnessing a battle for democracy, but an armed conflict between government and opposition in a multireligious country.”

I don’t know if she didn’t get the point or if she doesn’t want to directly answer it but the point is not that a bird morphs over time into another bird or a lizard into a different lizard that cannot mate.

It is about an example of a lizard becoming a mammal or a fish becoming a bird over time, (not mammal or a fish becoming a bird over time, (not instantly, as she stats).  No one was saying that a bird would give birth to a small monkey.  This changing of kinds (or what every you want to call it) we have no proof of it ever occurring that was Ray’s point.  Evolutionists make the “leap of faith” to say if we see it inter-species then it occurred across species as well.

Because you have no evidence it takes faith to believe that the change occurred without evidence.  This is the same definition of “faith” the evolutionist accuse creationists of needing and it is true in both cases.  Both theories need faith, the true question is where do you place your faith?  Do you place your faith in God or do you place your faith in man (science)?

Evolution is not fact, undisputed.  It is a theory.  That is the big lie that we as a society have allowed ourselves to be fed.  It is also why there is such a strong reaction to Ray’s video.  The truth cannot be allowed to get out.  The truth is evolution is a theory, that is why it used to be called the “theory of evolution” which was conveniently dropped in the last few years.

Make sure to watch both video’s, Ray’s first so you can understand what she is referring to in her rebuttal.

Deception is great!  And growing daily, they can not let the truth get out.  Did you know in the last couple of years they have found soft tissue with a T-Rex fossil dig site.  They were able to capture DNA and blood samples from it.  Problem is, soft tissue can not survive beyond 10,000 years which means the T-Rex would have to be less than 10,000 years old, not millions or even billions of years old.  For more check out this link – Dinosaur soft tissue found.

The Truth is out there!

Excerpt:

Creationists refer to dinosaurs as missionary lizards for many reasons including:
– the short-lived Carbon 14 everywhere including in dinosaur bones
– the 521-year half-life of DNA that helps date the actual age of fossils containing dinosaurian genetic material, and
– the mostly left-handed amino acids that should be equally right and left handed if they were “Jurassic”, and
– the research on Egyptian mummies that established 10,000 years as an upper limit for how long original biological molecules could survive. Interestingly, the renowned evolutionist PZ Myers ridiculed our Real Science Radio program by repeating what had been a widely-discredited secular hope that the “soft-tissue” dinosaur finds were “biofilm” contamination from bacteria. But as 60 Minutes shows and Bob Enyart sums it up, “This is dinosaur.”

The Marriage Covenant

By Mike Taylor

IN the beginning, Genesis 2.21-24:

“And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

The marriage covenant between one man and one woman is under all out assault in this country and around the world. No longer is the covenant God instituted regarded as sacred with men and women jumping from one relationship to another in a hop scotch of perversions─male with female same sex perversions, and … well, you name it. Liberal society has abandoned the God ordained institution as the building block of a healthy society to its eventual demise and destruction.

As noted in the previous verse, God made one woman for one man, and a man for one woman, and blessed the union of the two being joined as one flesh. He made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Bruce. If Adam and Eve had not broken the commandment of God, none of the problems we have today would be present. But when Eve saw the forbidden tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the wily old serpent we call Satan, lied to her and tempted her to fulfill her human desire of being “enlightened” to the ways of humanist desires to rule one’s self and “do their own thing.” When God questioned Adam and Eve and their sin was out in the open, God pronounced curses upon them. One of them is found in the following verse:

Genesis 3.16: “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”

Are You Searching For The Truth?

By Dan Payne

Over the years, I have read several stories about people who said they spent some great portion of their lives searching for the “truth”. Some of them searched in literal places, like Calcutta and the summit of Mt. Everest. Others searched in the texts of ancient Greek philosophers, like Socrates and Aristotle. Still others searched in various “holy” books like the Koran, the Book of Mormon, and yes, even the Holy Bible. I wonder what kind of heart these people were searching with, was it hard or soft?

A proud and hard heart says that it takes some great effort on your part to seek God and find “truth”. A soft and humble heart says it takes no effort on your part; all of the effort was taken on the part of Jesus Christ at the cross.

To compare hard vs. soft in this context, think of a sponge that is not completely dried out. It is soft and porous, able to receive any liquid poured onto to it, until it’s filled to capacity. Liquid that is poured onto the sponge becomes liquid that is poured into the sponge. Now Continue Reading »

The Return Of The Kings Of The North And South

by Jack Kelly

“At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships” (Daniel 11:40)

Several times over the last few years I’ve made mention of my belief that two powerful and opposing forces of Biblical times were in the process of re-emerging to become part of the increasingly complex situation in the Middle East. These two adversaries are called the King of the North and the King of the South in Daniel 11 and recent events show they’ve both taken a giant step toward fulfilling their  prophetic destiny.

My most recent study on this subject is not quite two years old and appears under the title “The Three Kings Of Daniel 11”.  It’s named that way because in their end times appearance, the Kings of the North and South will not only oppose each other, they will both oppose the anti-Christ, who is called “the King who exalts himself” in Daniel 11:36.

Daniel 11:5-35 is a summary of the historical times of these two kings as they battled each other for control of what we now call the Middle East through several generations. They finally disappeared as the Romans were coming into prominence.  It’s amazing to consider that Daniel wrote about all of them before any of them were born, squeezing over 100 historically documented prophecies into the first 35 verses of Daniel 11

Daniel 11:36-45 are still future to us and require the re-emergence of these kings to be fulfilled. I believe in  our current headlines we’re seeing signs that they’re preparing to rise and take their positions on the end times stage.

What Makes You Say That?

In my Mid East Update I reported that Saudi Arabia gave the Egyptian Army substantial assistance in its successful overthrow of the government.  We now know that the United Arab Emirates and Kuwaitt  were also involved.   I mentioned that this concerns the US because of the possibility that these countries are banding together into a Sunni Muslim confederacy to oppose Iran. There’s a likelihood that they will support and even assist Israel in destroying Iran’s nuclear program.  (The US is not opposed to a Sunni confederacy, but has been trying to build one around Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood in a revival of the Ottoman Empire.  Saudi Arabia and Egypt have become too independent for American tastes.)

Now, several Middle Eastern news services are reporting that Iran is working to build a Shiite Muslim block  to counter this move by the Continue Reading »

It’s a miracle!!!

Absolutely stunning the blatant deception we are seeing.

It is all smoke an mirrors and is a reminder of why we should not place our hope in man or man’s inventions but in God alone!

Treasury Ran $98 Billion Deficit in July–But Debt Stayed Exactly $16,699,396,000,000

August 14, 2013 – 4:15 AM

(CNSNews.com) – The Treasury Department’s Financial Management Service (FMS), which publishes both the federal government’s official Daily Treasury Statement and its official Monthly Treasury Statement, is reporting that in July the federal government ran a deficit of $98 billion but that the federal government’s debt remained exactly $16,699,396,000,000 for the entire month.

The FMS said that the deficit went up $98 billion ($97,594,000,000) in the Monthly Treasury Statment for July, which it released on Monday.

At the same time, the FMS said the debt stayed at exactly $16,699,396,000,000 in its Daily Treasury Statements, which are published every business day. The Daily Treasury Statements show the daily value of the federal government debt that is subject to a legal limit set by Congress.

At the static $16,699,396,000,000 level that the Treasury reported for every day of July, the debt was just $25 million below the legal limit of $16,699,421,000,000 that was set in a law passed by Congress and signed by President Barack Obama.

If Treasury’s daily statements were to declare that the government had borrowed an additional net $98 billion to cover the $98 billion deficit the Treasury declared in its monthly statement for July, the Treasury would be conceding that the government had already surpassed the legal limit on the debt–and has been violating the law by continuing to borrowing additional money.

Instead, even as the Treasury was running up the $98-billion deficit it reported in the July Monthly Treasury Statement, every one of the 22 Daily Treasury Statements published for July said the Treasury had closed out the previous business day with exactly $16,699,396,000,000 in debt.

The Daily Treasury Statement for Aug. 12, released Tuesday afternoon, says the debt remained stuck at exactly $16,699,396,000,000 during the first 12 days of this month, too.

On May 17, the first day the Treasury reported that the debt had hit exactly $16,699,396,000,000–and was thus just $25 million below the legal limit–Treasury Secretary Lew sent a letter to House Speaker John Boehner saying he was beginning to implement what he called “the standard set of extraordinary measures” to prevent the Treasury from exceeding the legal limit on the federal debt.

Since Lew sent that letter–announcing that he would use “extraordinary measures”–the debt has remained stuck at exactly $16,699,396,000,000 for 87 straight days.

That includes all 31 days in July when Lew’s Treasury says it was running a $98 billion deficit.

When Lew stops using “extraordinary measures” to keep the debt at exactly $16,699,396,000,000, the government will have another debt-limit crisis.

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9

Christ is the narrow gate (Matthew 7:13-14), through faith in Him you will be saved.  It is the only “works” that God requires for eternal salvation.

It is The Gospel of Jesus Christ.  To learn more check out the following link.

I Have To Have That

In my previous post I mentioned the “more-itis” that most of us, myself included, suffer from especially here in the West.  Camilla lays out our common struggle, bare before our eyes.  It is the honest truth, and I know so as it cuts like a knife.  Hopefully, it will inspire you as it has me to again, shift directions, away from the things of this world and back to God our only true shelter in these times.  We are on a journey of constant daily course corrections as we navigate the narrow path through this world to pick up our cross daily.

I Have To Have That

By Camilla Smith

I am sure many of you are feeling the fog in the brain that Satan is sending our way recently. It is simply static. What is it about clarity and keeping focused? I am having so much trouble lately, keeping my eye on the prize and honing in on my purpose as a Christian and an end-times “watchman.” Maybe it is Satan.  Maybe it is eBay.   Frankly, I think they are one and the same. But lately, I am finding myself jumping right back into the world and looking for those little comforts that money can afford.   Which brings me to my next I-Pod-while-walking lesson.

All this walking has helped me to shed quite a few pounds and happily, lose a few clothing sizes. New wardrobe you say? Why of course! How about a few handbags and several pairs of shoes to go with that? Yes, please. Okay, but when is enough, enough? It is enough now. I am starting to feel dazed and delirious and I am ready to get off this little whirlwind tour down Cash and Carry Lane.

So I will. With God’s help, I will get back to that I-Pod and pay attention to the song that seems to come on more often than any of them…“I’d Rather Have Jesus.” Oh, yes it does, seems like every fourth song. Subtle, isn’t it?

Lea does an amazing job putting together an air tight case for our founding as a nation.  It has always amazed me how much spin and so many lies are out there about our founding.  But just like everything, if you go directly to the source, our founding fathers letters and sayings and match up their written works with older text that influenced them, you will find the Truth.  It is out there, it is just most of us are too busy, distracted, or lazy to search.  Not all of this is our fault, it is the way our modern society has transformed, more is certainly not better in all cases, and that is one of our serious problems: more-itis.  We need to simplify our lives and return to our distant roots.

Some of my favorite tidbits from the article:

Political Science Professors at the University of Houston wanted to know the source of the Founding Father’s ideas. After assembling over 15,000 documents, quotes and writings from them this is what they learned:

Direct quotes (3,154) showed that 7.9% were from William Blackstone. Blackstone’s Commentary on the Law/span>, 1758 was the textbook for American lawyers and it contained direct Bible quotes referencing sources of laws; 8.3% were from Charles Montesquieu, a political philosopher; 2.9% were from John Locke, theologian and political philosopher; 94% were quotes from The BIBLE, of which 34% were direct quotes, and 60% were quotes from men who quoted the Bible in their writings.

The Word: “In the beginning was the Word…” John 1:1.

“It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ! For this very reason, people of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity and freedom of worship here.” ─Patrick Henry’s, May 1765 Speech before the House of Burgesses

Take some time to read Lea’s full article below, you will certainly not be disappointed.

People are strange. And it seems that Christians can be the strangest. True freedom can only come through God. Our nation was founded upon God-given rights, or what is called Natural Law. These are rights that are given by our Creator and, not by any person or governmental body. They cannot be taken away.

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage” (Galatians 5:1).

It is unfortunate, then, that most of today’s Christians (at least in the Western world, particularly America) are as much in bondage as those who are not Christians. They are in bondage to traditions of men, liturgy and doctrine. They are enslaved much as the Pharisees enslaved Judaism from accounts we read in the Bible. Jesus spoke with passion and was “in-your-face” with the Pharisees about their “oral law.” These were their additional “rules” which they took upon themselves to add to that which was given by God to guide Israel.

This is very unfortunate, especially considering what we see unfolding not only across the world but here in America. This is a nation that was founded upon biblical principles and laws. Our founding fathers took these very seriously and crafted documents that reflect this. Despite what some “progressives” try to say in order to rewrite history, the facts are facts. History cannot be changed. But as we see from history, when a nation does not honor God, it is not blessed.

All Christians, particularly in America and especially pastors, should then be keenly interested in this and in being proactive by doing everything within their power to see that our nation isn’t tolerating the things God has told us not to tolerate. To call that which is good, good and that which is evil, evil─and not to care what the world thinks at all. That was Jesus’ philosophy.

One of the founding fathers was a minister. All of these brave men laid everything they had; even their very lives on the line in order to do what they did. They were, after all, committing a treasonous act. They were taking action against King George. They were standing in defiance against a tyrannical government. And Christians and ministers stood with them. Churches were a significant force in keeping communities informed of what was happening. Today, this is unheard of. The pulpits have fallen silent, with the exception of a very few.

Instead of teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ (which includes how to be a good citizen, if these teachings are taken seriously and followed), the Baptists are teaching how to be “good Baptists.” Methodists are teaching how to be “good Methodists” and so forth. Instead of understanding and teaching the great blessing and significant role God has played in this nation and therefore, how being a good citizen is also acknowledging what God has done for us, they are actually denigrating this. How? By teaching that Christians are “citizens of heaven” and therefore have no responsibility to their nation, state or community.
